    Cant open the game due to failed to init security.
    Note: File blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game.
    Blocked loading of file 'A:\GamezBDO\bin64\xc\na\2\xcorona_x64.xem'

    I've tried everything on the page but still getting the same error.

    Help PLEASE!

    Bump. I am having the same problem. None of the steps in the FAQ for this issue work. Had no problems before this patch, now I am. Even excluded the SmartGuard from firewall. Please help! I am unable to play the game at all.

    Have you guys tried disabling all the firewalls you have up including windows defender to see if the problem disappears?
    New files are introduced and could be getting blocked, I would maybe redo the exceptions in firewall and folder exclusions in both regular firewall and windows defender to see if for some reason the new files aren't getting excluded.

    Yes, I have added it to firewall exceptions and antivirus exceptions. I have added the file/folder of the file in the error above, as well as the launcher and the SmartGuard application.

    Maybe @Noyah can have a deeper look into the issue and find a solution.

    The Following has been done:
    • Re installation using both launcher and mirrors, force checked files
    • Exceptions in Firewall, Defender, Antivirus for Gamezbd folder and SmartGuard
    • Replaced file xcorona_x64.xem manually with working version
    • Downloaded all Visual C++
    • Gave both launcher/blackdesertx64.exe admin privileges

    *Update* I was able to get it to work. @Spawnsaber

    Smartguard defaults to C drive only, so in some cases it may not be able to access other drives. Once I moved my Gamezbd folder to the same drive as Smartguard error went away. This was not an issue before remastered, but with the new patch it became one.
