Resolved Unable to play after update 972

Error Code: 0301 C000007B
This error code pops-up right after pressing Start Game and the game does not load.
Any ideas or solutions?

Running a Force-Check at the moment.
Nope that did not help at all.

I am going to try deleting the Cache folder.
Nope that did not change anything.

Redownloading the files of the new version, Once Again.
Done and that changed nothing, still getting the exact same error after a fresh download.

i was able to fix the failed to init but now i got this... damn same error 0301 C000007B

Unfortuantely I JUST tried running a new Force-Check and even after trying to update various programs, while also deleting cache folders and re-downloading the 972 version, I am still getting the same error code so therefore still unable to play.

How did you install the new version ??? update thru launcher, update from torrent or full version from torrent ??
I also had some problems, what solved it for me was downloading new launcher from website, moving my launcher in diferent folder, and deleting the data and paz folders (or how are they named) and adding the 30GB full game 972 in here (no overwriting etc)... hope it may help

 

Downloaded the full version through the torrent system, I deleted the old launcher and game folder, downloaded a new launcher, re-run Force-Check and STILL getting the same error.

I am still getting the same error code and therefore still unable to play

Yeah I am down with the flu so I am just gonna try to chill until I get my game back and can finally play again

I like that you took the time to make this search however if you check the date of the issue you will find that it is from back in September 2018 AND that no solution was posted.

I did do the Win10 update of both system and NET-Framework however no luck so far, still getting the exact same error, yeah I did check whether the files required had Full-system-access, also I never have UAC enabled since I am not an amatuer computer user

The strangest thing is that I was briefly able to play for about half a day after the login endless loop error was fixed, then the next bug-fix package was released and the error code started popping up.
It is very frustrating because I can plainly see that it is only affecting a very small handful of people with the large majority being able to play just fine, also it just makes it so much worse that I cannot figure out how to get around the error code on my end so I may finally play on this otherwise wonderful server once again.
It has now been 4 days, still nothing has helped

 

apparently this error is because of a windows configuration. trying to help them, I found several options, but the one that seems to work for everyone according to the comments, is this video, hopefully it works for them.

or you have 64.bit dll in the wrong directory and a subsystem is attempting to load them as 32 bit files.

I would be looking at uninstalling any old c runtime libraries and looking for a updated package
which one will depend on the name of the file listed."

This is entirely brought on by GamezBD and as I already have stated before;

So it is not because of our system setup since nothing has changed (other than the windows update a couple of days AFTER I was able to play), it SEEMS to be a Gamez side problem that only affects certain types of system builds? (once again I have NO idea really just "spitballing")

 

I know I had that some kind of error initially after the 927 update. All I did was left the launcher running for an hour even without it doing anything, then after that I force closed it via taskmanager, tried to re-run force check then after it stopped checking files; I went on try to start the game and it worked.

If that does not work for you (even though that really is what I did on mine not sure if I got that exact error code though)..
You might want to try to check C:\Program Data\SmartGuard and delete that SmartGuard folder then try to run a force check via the launcher again.

 

Resetting my Win10, running the AIO-package, and then updating my graphics driver actually did the trick!

This solved my problem with the error code...not sure if it will help everyone though

 

With Resetting Win10 you mean re-installing win?
I got my drivers up to date D:
Already install everything from AIO-package.
Something im doing wrong or im just cursed.

 

Yeah unfortunately Reset Win10 is an option you can conjure up if you Hold Shift-key when you press Restart in the startmenu, then a menu opens up when it is about to restart a blue screen of options
In there the top option is called Reset Win10 and basically reinstalls it however you are able to keep your user files if you want to or have not backed them up onto another harddrive yet.

 

This is what I did;

• Make sure system update gives me a green tick (I had a few pending downloads)
• Reinstall the C++ redistributables (I source them directly from MS sites .. I don't use the all in one executable because it installs extra stuff I don't want or need).
• Check for the latest graphic card drivers
• Run software check from launcher

It now works (for me).

It is a common error in windows when the libraries do not work correctly. Some games may work, but others may not.
but it's good, it's good to know that they were able to solve the problem.
