As a follow up to TheGuy's post a few days ago, i would like to voice myself on the matter about Gamezbd atm. http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/the-biggest-problem-on-gamezbd.227932/

    Intro:
I have been a part of this community for about a year now, got myself to 640 gs on the EU servers and generally enjoyed the work of Kolka and the dev team. However with that said, i'm not blind to the fact that the server is not healthy or thrilling if you have been around for awhile, you can still be missing gear, but the content that get the best income silver wise can often be at spots way under your current GS.
    Purpose of this thread:
I found myself in the same situation that allot of people were in back when we thought archer was coming out in just a month time, and I myself took a break from the game because i felt the need for new content to heavy, sadly with the update i must admit i still do the same thing over and over. I do not do horse training, I think it's a stupid idea in itself as it provides nothing but liquid silver without ever befitting another person on the server, what do I mean by this? On the official servers horse training is a thing yes, but it's not the only thing, they do cooking, alchemy, fishing, crafting etc. therefore lifeskilling is something you can actually do, without getting very single material yourself, you can currently craft all draughts on officials without getting a single thing outside the MP yourself, with exception to frenzy as it requires a bound item.

    Grinding and Lifeskilling:

On this server the only purpose to lifeskilling is i need this so i can make this, and hards and sharps to either sell or use, that's it for the majority of us, and that sucks.
Then there's grinding, this is my subjective view, there might be some people who got better methods than me, but i have never seen a spot that can compete with Cadry pre or post Archer patch
I made this guide/review of Cadry's back in March this year, and i could net 800m on average with lootscroll (since it gave 50% double drop to BS back then) and that was not with the cadry rings valued as something that would sell, but rather the value of the average Yona fragment you would get once the archer patch was released (if you crafted basi belts) this is so WRONG IMO, that I with 272 aap Kutum (at that point) grind at Cadry, i mean what's the point then of progressing if it's like week 1 "let's go cadry" year 20 "let's go cadry" it becomes a running simulator at that point, as the mobs just basically die just for looking at you.

Your current grinding zone should match your gear, i feel annoyed when i run into people on arsha with 160 ap at cadry, because if they keep respawning, then they grief my rotation, however why am i at a 140 zone with double the ap? Simple because it's the best, but i shouldn't be grinding there, THEY SHOULD.

    Current Marketplace:
Then there's the MP, no F'ing wonder no one wants to sell lifeskill stuff when the limit is 30 items at any given point, Purified Water for example, you need 15.000 to limit yourself, that's allot of water! But what do you earn by this? A wholesome sum of 28m! Waaauwww! Same goes for any item to summon bosses, BMC (Not that bad, not good enough), and just in general anything under the value of 2m that doesn't stack, before the archer patch went live i even went to the point that i threw away my scrolls because they simple didn't net me enough that i wanted to waste a slot on my MP or run the bosses myself.

What do i suggest to deal with this problem?
First of all, for my idea to hold any benefits the new MP needs to come out, also the current weight limit that official have 5000 i believe it's in can have in your MP storage, we need 10x given we have more stuff going around here
Second, 10x sounds nice when you join the server, and i don't think we should get rid of that buff this server provides on that front, however i suggest we go about it differently, instead of 10x chance, it should be 10x increased amount dropped, with only items that a not stackable being 10x droprate. The reason for this is that any common drop weather you're gathering or grinding becomes useless compared to rare drops. We still get the same amount of trashloot per hour here, so if you can grind at a spot where you can disable trashloot and only farm for rare drops, while stilling keeping your pets active then you have hit a goldmine, this means that you need to grind fast against weak mobs, instead of fighting strong mobs.

Just think if you started getting 10 times the amount of trash loot, then people who can get 3000 trash/h at Hystria will now get 30.000 = 360m if this became something that happen, we would all start grinding at the highest AP zone that our gear currently supported, that would also mean that high end zone would get populated, and you would now have deal with the fact of not being alone at your spot to often, and often by people you don't overgear by a 3 digit GS.

One major downsite i see to this is however some items in lifesklling, since the common drop can't be sold to vendors for any reasonable value and therefore is only benefited if markets requests the item. That i don't have a solution to other than another custom NPC, that would buy any NON-boss item for 80% of it's min value.

Other aspects of the game that would benefit from this system
Items that would now drop in 10x amount like Black Stones, would now see a heavy boost from a lootscroll, given that it would now be double rate, instead of 1000% + 100% (1100%) also leveling a node would help allot, gaining knowledge score for that passive +% droprate would also become handy, therefore the game will suddenly become much bigger to people who haven't yet gained these benefits

Thanks for reading to the end, hope my view isn't to subjective and that i actually talked about some ideas that some of you might be interested in!

They will simply not implement big changes like this, I mean our client has tens of different events yet we only use 1, there is only 1 single event that rotates every 3 weeks and that is the golden drop.. They will simply think the server is fine as is and that's it, one of the reasons why I stopped playing.

I totally agree with you, I was grinding cadry/crescent when I had 230ap and was still doing the same thing when I had 290 ap.

Yeah i hear you, i enjoyed my time here and will probably jump on from time to time, but i can't bring myself to grind at spots that doesn't match my gear anymore, it's too time consuming with no enjoyment.

I like how you didn't even talk about how your video is outdated because the droprates there don't match what you get now. Heck, your gathering video is outdated, too. It's significantly lower. In fact, iirc, I'd average 400 black stones at cadries, similar amounts of scrolls, less accessories and accessory pieces, and less yonas fragments compared to your 1400 blackstones, similar scrolls, more cadry rings and pieces, and more yonas fragments.

That aside, the fact that you complain about horse training when you're the guy who made the 800m per hour cadry video is such a joke. How can you sit there and have the audacity to claim that horse training makes too much money when cadry was 5.3x more profitable on average, and is still 2.2x times as profitable? Jesus. Also, the reason you see more players now at Cadry is because you made that video. Why would you even do that? Why would you go out of your way to share your money-making methods when it just hurts you in the end? It's not like we have unlimited grind spots, where everybody can share in your 800m bounty at the same time. And even if they could, the devs would just see that it's making too much money and nerf it. Didn't you try to flex about retail knowledge in the other thread? From seeing this, I think you have no idea about how things actually are on retail.

While I agree with some of your points, especially that crafting isn't very profitable and that it's a huge problem, your ideas don't do anything to solve the issue. Remember your video about trash loot buffs? Yeah. Guess what's gonna happen when people can go to hexe sanctuary and get 10x trashloot that gives 5600 per item? They'll get 20 items per kill with a loot scroll. You're most likely gonna see a regression from the best spots for most of the player base being valencia to being calpheon spots again. In fact, if you think horse training is a serious issue, wait til your idea hits. Every nub with a horse ranger and a macro/botting program will generate way more silver per hour than training could. It'd be 840m/hr if they're maxing out what their pets can loot every hour and getting trash every mob, not even including earring drops. That's not silver from selling an item to another player, btw. That's pure silver generation from selling trash loot to a vendor. Silver completely from thin air. Even if they see trash loot from hexe every 4th mob, it'd still be better than current horse training without the inconsistency of tiers or # of skills you get from leveling a horse to 30. This would also mean that afk players literally would be making next to no money, since fishing and trading are garbage here, while grinders would be generating hundreds of millions of or a billion silver per hour, instead of afkers making decent money while grinders make much better money.

Your change would literally empty the market way faster than horse training ever could, because we'd see an even bigger lack of accessories due to retail levels of low drop rates while silver generation would spike much higher. This change would make gearing up for pve even more useless, as the best spot would change from 280 ap sycraia to an 80 ap zone in calpheon. This would lead to the currently best geared players camping the zones again, and killing any low gear player they see. This leads to undergeared players being completely locked out of what should be a decent money zone, but is the best money-making zone or even potentially early questing zones.

You spot in cadrys is exactly how devs should see every other spot. In cadrys you literally do 0 liquid money, all the money you do is due to selling your drops in market. If you change the trash loot to 10x like you said, you would inject an insane amount of liquid silver in the server and inflation would be even higher. What we need is better rare drops (scrolls/accessories/etc), to fill the market. As for lifeskilling, we dont have nothing because we have the same results of retail. So devs should either buff the amount you gather (meat, stones, saps, wtever) and also buff the amount the workers get, by A LOT, or buff the ending result of recipes (instead of getting 3 metal solvent get 30 for example), or buff both. Even tho I dont think a lot of people will do lifeskilling, as of most people comes in a private for pvp.

SD rate needs to be upped to like 60%.
accessory drop rates need to be increased, or as another thread suggests add 50m accessory boxes.
    ///
market needs more accessories. that will fix that.
people need more silver from grinding, this will sort that out too. get them grinding SD like the old days, will be a lot more OW PvP like there used to be.

As long as people keep paying them with donation they have no reason to make any real changes

Where do people keep getting the idea that afk money making methods are the best in the game? You make more money per hour gathering/killing mobs.

Because most people in the game are AFK and they THINK that those AFK people are rich. Like WTF hahahahaha!
Yeah, gathering and other life skilling are + killing mobs/SD is more profitable.

my question is why do you play a server if there is so much wrong? have you visited retail? sure it has updated MP and such more events and all that fun stuff but it is UNGODLY expensive and real money trade dependent. a private server is a way to AVOID paying real money without making it TOO easy. yet if they where to restore rate then people would complain that they are bored. I have seen it many times in my years of running servers, change one thing and a person will complain. Leave it alone and another will complain, there is no winning when it comes to it. Also changes and updates are NEVER as simple as one may think, mayhaps adding the MP changes it will crash the server or not work as intended.

I have a small addition to make to this thread since the previous one (http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/the-biggest-problem-on-gamezbd.227932/page-5) has a lot more bickering in it than I can deal with at the moment.

I like that you point out what is abundantly clear to all who actually play on this server, the lessened drops of particularly the rare items, but it has been made clear so many times before, and I believe the developers when they say that they have not secretly decreased the numbers. I think it is the Retail version code that does that for them, since everytime we have seen a major decrease it has been in an update. I might be wrong.

The thing I can point to is again the horribly badly priced items for the MarketPlace, as in "why do crafting at all, when all you do is loose silver per item created on the MP?", it is all because the Retail values are not reasonable at all. The amount of silver you can get by selling the individual reagents/ingredients/materials by themselves may yield a smaller amount of silver per batch, but in comparison to how much you loose by creating something with them it is not an incentive to craft at all, which is why the MP is severely underused at the moment. I have made at least two posts about this being a serious problem but no one seems to get it.

Decreasing the amount of silver gained from the most used AFK activity right now (Horsetraining) is only going to alienate more players and make them hostile towards how the GamezBD staff is handling the situation, but as others have pointed out it is only a handful of players on GamezBD that actually use the forums while the Discord program has a bunch of users (even if they never read anything on it). I dislike Discord because there is no real consequence to what people post in there, it usually just gets lost in the abundance of messages most of which have nothing to do with GamezBD at all, while in a forum there is a clear record of what players say. But it does lead to the problem of say, one guild says to its members "hey make a forum account and then go agree with this post (make fun of or antagonize reponses we do not like)" which then leads to these kinds of posts: "GamezBD is dead, PvP is dead, nerf this and that, give us more stuff quicker". I fully understand that a forum is for all to speak their minds and most of all to communicate with the Staff of GamezBD as well as the rest of the community, but as I pointed out it is merely 10-20% of all GamezBD players who even bother with the forum, so it is in my eyes painfully obvious when a play/move is being made by a big guild to make a change that benefits mainly those players only.
The worse part of mainstreaming (mass-mind-mentality) is that they seriously think that everyone else thinks the same way they do and most horrifyingly tend to meet any resistance with violence.

I agree that lifeskilling should be a viable option for getting materials and silver income, which is why I think that the 10x drops this server advertizes should actually be true to their word. Gathering could really use the buff, in materials only mind you (things you can use to craft), as well as the workers empire should benefit from the same buff, as well as Fishing should really become much better than it is at the moment.

But as others have pointed out all this is merely a patch on the open-festering-wound that is the big problems this server still has. Many unsolved bugs that keep getting reported, Classes not fully working, and many many bugged skills, which untimately leads to terrible imbalance and the notion that there is One-Way-To-Play (best/fastest).

To my horror it seems that the Mainstreamers of the western culture have readily destroyed the original idea of this game altogether now, in my last leveling up with the BSQ (BlackSpiritQuestline) I have encountered none of the "magic" this game was born with. All the loot dropped by "mobs" in Balenos/Serendia has been completely removed in favor of increased silver value for "thrashloot", which means that only because the majority of players didn't want to convert the loot into materials (using Heating) it ended up just being removed which in turn also removes all the potential materials gained that could've been used in crafting and put on the MP. They also removed about 80% of all the "sidequests" which means that getting a decent Contriution Points score is now a whole lot harder than is was no more than one update ago.

In the beginning this game was an Actual MMO-RPG, since you started out being able to make a decision about whether to help the BlackSpirit or to help the Adventurer's Guild with the characters you kept running into in the previous build of the game. Clear path of Evil versus Good, and the game awarded Karma accordingly, which was absolutely awesome.
But as soon as it reached the first audience in the "west" (NA/EU) they quickly figured out that no one was taking the Good path simply because it had less rewards in it in comparison to the Evil path and doing the BlackSpirit's commands, so they just removed what made the game into a RPG. Then the following updates and changes have all been along those same lines; what do the Mainstreamers say about this and that, how do we please them so they keep spending more money on this product?
