I'm in my feelz about Shai

Okay 2 all the damn GMs get ready to roll out the new Shai class I'm now in my feels about her!!!!! Lets not let this be like the archer was! What about you all. are you all in them feelz for the new class??? And are you all rolling one when she comes out?

Took me a while to get the "lost in translation" post, and even so I am unable to cast a vote since none of those two options make sense to me

But I am looking forwards to any new updates that will bring back some of the lost "magic" to this otherwise potentially wonderful game.

 

I'll be honest : I adore them.

Still, for as much as I usually love these types of races and classes in a mmo I won't reroll to one of them this time ; I may try making a Shai alt in the future but considering how hard it is to level , gear , get skills and so on for more than just your main class I think I will stay on my bae-hwa for now .
Kinda wish mmos were more alt friendly....and BDO is already more alt friendly than many other asian games as in you just need to change your 3 weapons and can easily share the armor and accessories. Sadly enchanting stuff here is not the same as enchanting stuff in other mmos...but on the other hand it's the ultimate purpouse of the game here.

 

I am terribly disappointed with the new Shai class. It has been dumbed down to fit the mainstreamers mind capacity (in my opinion), with as few different skills as they could manage and with little "magic" left for animations and moves. They feel quite boring to play actually, nothing at all like they look, as I imagined it, cute and cuddly, quick and jumping, loads of things that could have made them interesting but were never done, like a half-arsed attempt at a new class they just had to rush.

 

ORIGINALLY shai was meant to be a life skill only class. but they needed some type of combat. On retail she has some new passives for life skill that are honestly REALLY good. She was an attempt at backing away from "everyone is a DPS monkey" mind set. Personally I love the class though it is mainly due to life skill focus.

 

I just love how adorable she is, surprisingly her skills are pretty fun - tho awakening could've been a lot more original. Hopefully, awakening comes soon.jpeg.

 

the awakening is actually a lot of fun, it is interesting how they did it on retail. my issue is the crummy censorship on shai.

this is kakao we are talking about where a freaking costume cost 35 bucks....I can go get a REAL outfit for that.

 

This is why i really dont play shai much anymore killed the fun with thr BS. thiy did this crap in tera as well and pissed everyone off

Costumes always costed 20-30 bucks in Tera and tbh I find that to be reasonable as you find more or less the same prices in all MMOs ( 20-30 $ in BnS , in BDO , FF XIV is b2p for 10 $ , you pay 35 $ for expansions , 15 $ for monthly sub and 18 $ per outfit.....so it's a lot more expensive in the end ) .
The issue is that BHS locked Tera's dyeable or most popular costumes behind rng boxes that cost like 5 $ each...said boxes being as rigged as BDO ones ( a friend of mine once spent more than 100 $ to try getting me one as a birthday gift, I was not aware of it ).
Now, I could go on listing the issues of a lot of mmos ( BnS , BDO , ecc ) , Tera's in particular since I've been playing it ever since it came out in 2012 up to only just last year when I had truly got sick of the developers and publishers bullshit....but I just will keep quiet since it would be pointless to do so.

As for BDO...you just know how Kakao / PA are and how the western society reacts to lolis in general. If you really want Shai's KR textures and mesh your best bets are to either keep on asking here on the forums...but I am not so sure they will be implemented...or to just mod them manually in yourself by asking someone who has them ( might wanna look at some BDO modding forums ; texture and mesh mods are harmless anyway so no one would truly ban an user for modifying a piece of virtual cloth....it causes no advantage or disadvantage in any way ) .
