Portraits

Hello,
I noticed I am unable to change the default character portraits in game, is there a way to do this outside of that?
also using the picture icon or portrait icon, via both the beauty album and 'disconnect' menu don't function.

There is an Camera icon next to the transport button
clilck it so u can take a picture from any angle u want.

My sincere apologies, I should have clarified in the original post.
You see upon doing that there is no portrait taken.

Sorry to say this but there is no message or other indication that the portrait has been taken and registered, if you log out to the character select screen you should see the difference, otherwise you have to restart or possibly delete your User/Documents/BDO folder and do a force-check. I know it works for me because I changed the picture not more than 2 days ago

 

So, I click the button and nothing happens acts like the function is broken.
What I am trying to figure out is how to fix it. or simply do it manually.
1. Shut down the game,
2. Deleted the "My documents> BlackDesertOnline" folder in its entirety.
3. launch the game attempt to take another portrait (same problem)
4. Shutdown the game, launch it again. No change.

Im trying to see if anyone has a fix or work around.'maybe its - a corrupted file that was not patched correctly or something. I have no idea what the issue is. I click the button and then it does... well Nothing.

 

Did you do a force-check?

I am going to go in and try to take a new portrait now...will update this as soon as I know more, because it might just be you having this issue in which case you should contact Kolka...but wait until I have updated this no need to bother him if we do not Have to

**Updated: I just changed a Portrait photo...so it might just be you.

 

I redownloaded the game in its entirety,
Deleted, (bdo my documents folder, and the install folder.)
Downloaded the game client from the Retail website,
Placed the Gamez Launcher in the client. Launched the Gamez launcher patched/downgraded the game.

Portraits still not changing. Doing a force check to see if that fixes it.

 

If I were you I would contact Kolka directly...sounds like there is a problem...also just a tip, it might be a better idea to download the GamezBD version from the Torrent file (http://forum.gameznetwork.com/threads/download-mirrors-client-v2220-community-provided.210022/) instead of using the "Retail-BDO"-version.

 

completely deleted the game reinstalled it by just downloading the exe from the website and... yeah no luck. (gamez launcher)

 

Kolka time for sure...just write a Private Message using the Conversation option.

 

in game folder u also have Cache folder , u try delete it?
