Hello all! Returning player once again! I just have a question about the new update when it comes to the Launcher downloading new updates. The game itself is around 20 GB's to install, and updates are around 10 GB+. However this time this update took around 50 GB's of space just for this new update.

Is that correct? Like the game itself requires only 20 GB's to install. Why does the update require 50 GB to update? It took almost all of my available space just from this one major update, yet in past major updates it only needed around 15-20 GB's, It doesn't make any sense. Just wondering if anyone else has this "issue" or not. I find it weird and wonder if there is an explanation for this. It's strange too, because other games that are only require 20 GB's big to install, tell me that I need 50 GB's of "extra" space. I have no idea why all of a sudden games need this "extra" space including Gamezbd but again would like an answer if there is one and if anyone else is experiencing this lol.

The new update is 37GB. It was essentially the whole game. It was recommended that you delete the PAZ folder if you used the community provided download links because a lot of the paz folder files were modified and the file structure changed dramatically. It could be that you have extra files in your folder that is no longer being used by the game.

Ah I see, I was wondering why it took so much, 37GB is fine, but thank you, I didn't know it didn't delete certain files/folders like the Paz ones when updating, so I'll do that now, though how do I know which PAZ ones are outdated compared to the new ones? So that I don't accidently delete one's that aren't outdated? But thank you Hyperbole for the explanation! :3

Edit: I found the outdated ones, so should I delete all that don't say 8/30/2020? I just want to be sure to delete them, because I really wouldn't want to corrupt the game after 20 hours of downloading the new update lol.

I believe its 8/27/20. I would force check right after to be safe.

Interesting, there are no files in the PAZ folder that have that date, the most "recent" are 8/30/20. After that it's 5/27/19 etc. So I assume the ones with the current date are the new files while all of the 2019 files are the old ones, and that I should delete those then? And np, I'll force check afterwards as well.

Ah ok, this might take a while because there's like 10k+ files and they are mixed between 2020 and 2019 lol. But thank you for your help Hyperbole, at least I know what to delete now lol. Again I'll do a force check afterwards and I'll let you know if it goes smoothly. :)

Edit: Well, I had around 5,000 2019 outdated files..which was around 55GB's of space...I deleted them and left all of the 8/30/20 files, I'll do a file check afterwards and see if everything is a-ok.

7:29 PM Update: Well after doing a file check, the launcher downloaded the update (the one from last night, that was around 40min downtime to fix server lag). And everything is fine with that.

Though the game keeps closing like always..either after the loading screen and character select. I spent more time today trying to load up the game then actually play it..I know there is a tip on the loading screen that says "if the game crashes, clear the launcher cache." I didn't see this launcher cache setting on the launcher itself, however I found a "cache" folder with 2 folders called "100 and 200." Do I literally clear these both entirely to see if it fixes the issue or no, that wouldn't be a good idea?

The game is fine with security and antivirus, they don't bother it, I also did another force-check and that went well, didn't find anything corrupted. I want to try to clear the cache to see if this issue that has been going on for a year now will be finally fixed lol, the same issue that disappears and re-appears randomly..but I don't want to delete anything important.
