Account Two-Factor Authentication

Why not we have 2FA since recently many accounts got hijacked, deleting items and characters including changing password. I think its time to have this feature.

 

I wonder, why would an account get hijacked if you alone only knew your account details?

 

Uh, Keylogging? Maybe dudes rig got jammed up by going to a sketch porn site? It's not an unreasonable request to ask for 2FA or at least a PIN system in the game, but every time I see a thread about it, someone gets extremely defensive. Could these attacks come from account sharing? Absolutely, but an extra layer of protection is NOT an unexpected forum topic, just say no if you're not going to do it.

 

I actually asked Kolka about that but the answer I got made no sense. Doesn't matter if the person from yesterday supposedly 'shared their account', there should be an option for those who want 2fa.

Like the forum has a Google Authentication option which I like and another verification thing. Why not add those are something similar?

 

you all have me really scared I just changed my password to 35 characters. upper lower case letters and symbols! This was my old password: "xFxd9ylG8UcHy2Z" not anymore...

 

Did this all happened after the seasonal update? If yes, maybe there is something wrong with the database files on the server that automatically changes the passwords of the accounts.

I know what it meant. I'm not a BD player, but as what I have noticed, people are having problems with their account which cannot log in and needs help from the staffs to recover it somehow and use the remember box to fix it. Changing the password is the best way to keep your account safe since there is no 2FA unlike Aion.
