Guide Modified Elion's Tear v4.0 tool for the new Blackstar enhance rate changes.

Hi everyone, so you may already know about a tool called Elion's Tear made by Hydra that is pretty handy for calculating GamezBD's custom enhancement rates. Unfortunately it seemed like the tool is not being updated anymore, and since the nerfed Blackstar enhancement rate was introduced in Gamez, Elion's Tear became obsolete which is a bummer cause IMO Elion's Tear still has the best user experience compares to others. So by using DnSpy (a .Net decompiler tool), I managed to modified some codes from the original tool to adapt to the new enhance rate changes. The rest of the functions (which is also pretty outdated) are left untouched.
Credits still belong fully to Hydra for creating an awesome tool that I love, ty.

So GDrive marked my file as a virus, I think me editing the original file messed up the signature, which seemed to be enough for some AVs (2 out of 90 on VirusTotal). Here's the new link now, Malwarebytes considered this file as safe on my end so it's just false positive.

I checked and compared the code completely with the official. No virus or weird code detected. It's clean as far as I can see.
Only things that have been added/improved are the items OP mentioned.

What do you want to replay? I have absolutely no idea what you are on about.
I don't know what you have been downloading, but the file is not called eli2.exe.
But for now I will leave this to the OP to respond.

 

Sounds like great work! It's sad that Elion's Tear is no longer being updated because, as you rightly pointed out, it was a really convenient tool with a nice interface. We're glad to hear you found a way to adapt it to new conditions using DnSpy. It's really cool that you're continuing to develop such a useful tool, even though it's no longer officially supported.

I agree that Elion's Tear's user experience was one of the best. Many other tools feel less intuitive or simply clunky in this regard. It's great to see how the community can pick up projects like this and continue to develop them.
