New Anti-AFK

Just wondering how the new AFK system will work. Given that AFK lifeskilling is as big a part of BDO as grinding is, how will the Anti-AFK work around those who are life skilling? I understand that the system is mainly targetting macros and bots but at the same time i think that legit players doing AFK life skilling would also be affected. I personally AFK with the game minimized to tray because i want to take advantage of my premium and get my pearls during the periods im not playing.

please keep in mind i have not a single fucking clue about coding .

 

The whole thing seems to have created confusion among the players and rightly so. The new anti botting system applies to players who kill a certain amount of monsters without moving from the area or in other words, bots. Which means other players who leave their characters afk just doing lifeskills shouldn't be affected by the system.

 

I never got problem in lifeskilling ( trainer , fishing , gathering ) . Im afk 8-10 hrs on lifeskill , come to pc , no kick/disconnect/captcha . So far i never had problem . So my guess , lifeskilling is not affected by the anti-afk system

Hello, let's say I'm a lazy player so I go to Marie Cave and keep spamming only 1 skill without moving while watching Netflix on the 2nd monitor.
Would I be flagged as botting?

 

Not flagged, but the system will pop up a question if you stand still.

 

You'll get spammed with having to fill out 3 questions, I used to do the exact same thing but you get the questions very frequently about 15-20min after eachother and only have 2-3? min to fill it out, so unless you are paying attention and looking on the screen you'll get kicked. Besides if you do it on a seasonal character like myself and are not fully geared you're likely to die while typing the answer.
