ABG set or EAT set ??

you have no idea how def mechanics work do you?
this is said from Ayase and Faelan in uk.aiononline.com(retail site & forum): for very 100def you receive 10% lower dmg.so if you have 3k def you receive 300 lower dmg from hit/skill.me that i have almost 2.5k i receive a bit higher of 250 in dmg from hit/skill..its their words not mine or anybody elses.
and if you don't know who Ayase and Faelan are,they are UK community retail managers.

did you look better the pic i posted earlier?in one part the guy without armor receives less dmg than when he wears.

 

i think you meant for every 1000 def u recieve 10% less dmg. is that correct?

 

ok, enough arguing vague terms about the stats of ABG versus EAT. Here is something a bit more concrete (for leather):



two things. This table assumes a ranger to have 5400 base HP, and the "anuhart" column is for anuhart ranger. I'm not getting into the defense argument, but this table should be enough to help most leather wearers decide if they want EAT or ABG (I don't care about plate). Basically it's def, mres, and evasion on ABG and crit, attack, and HP on EAT.

 

can you do the same thing for me with abg plate and eat plate plz?

i`m not one of those Aion nerds like you , who sit all day and read aion forums instead pvp`ing ... i don`t care that you have nerdgasms when you say names that prolly only you and other ppl like you knows about , all i know that between 25% reduction for 2500 defence , and 30% reduction for 3000 defence is a percentual bonus of 16.66%

25/30 = 0.833 , therefore i am taking 16.66% less damage when i am hit with phisical attacks .

as gladiator with almost 15 000 life when using second wind , 16.66% of 15 000 = 2500 life reduced when i`m fighting melee characters .

basic math >>>>>> aion nerd with no pvp knowledge

10% dmg reduction of your total def - 3k def=300 dmg lower from hit/skill

 

Ok here is the leather armor comparison with Miragents and the 30 abyss gear.

again, 5400 base HP assumed, the anuhart data is for the ranger set, and the effective HP is how much HP you would have in PvP (HP * (1+ pvp damage reduction %))

nope - that one you can do yourself. I play ranger and sin primarily and so that is why I made these tables a while ago.

 

but i dont have microsoft excell.

you get 42 more crit and 10 more atk with eat. imo the thing to get if you cant afford abg.

What is good abou abg Chain? I have the set so eat should I socket

 

chain armor has better Mres than plate, and physical defense means next to nothing in this game you really aren't sacrificing much to get the chain instead of plate if ur a glad, though personally Im using plate because I love my remodel armors

 

If your rich go for ABG. If your not rich then go for EAT. If you start with EAT u can always work your way up to ABG. It all comes down to if you wana save or go all out. Compare stats and go with what you feel comfortable with.
