Yeah, isn't it just bonkers how ISPs route their traffic?
I live in Japan and instead of going the trans-pacific route my traffic goes the opposite way. Through Korea, Europe, Great Britain and then trans-atlantic.

Exitlag as a product just shows us that traffic is routed not by distance, but by cost efficiency. Absolute nonsense. DX

Try doing the traceroute or tracert command to the Gamez Server IP while having exitlag on and off respectively, you'll be amazed.

Yes, but that's a different story because auth servers are down/unreachable. People who are online can still play. Two different problems. You're off-topic.

First you have to be connected to the Gameserver, which is impossible right now xD. But when it's back, do this:
Open cmd > get server IP of Gameserver with netstat -n (look for IP with port 7777) > tracert the IP and you'll see exactly what route your ICMP (ping) packets take.
You should see a difference if you use exitlag because the solution changes how traffic is routed.
