Bugs, Problems, Hacks, everything

So here are just some random things that dont work or are bugged or people are unsatisfied

1. Alright first of all id like to say that the LAGS lately really get bad sometimes.. and no playing possible during that time.. :bandit:

2. In the Dark Poeta Instance Spaller Echtra boss and the other beatle type bosses are BUGGED... They port you outside of the map and eventually you die... :ninja:

3. Gathering is a bit bugged:
a) The 2nd gathering attempt is always a failure (IF you dont move before a litle bit) so if you have to gather like 1000 things it really gets on ur nerver (but thsis is not really so important)
b) Some of the gatherables like Titanium Ore has a "broken" chance - it took me to around 530 Titanium ores to gather 17 Greater Titanium ores, but the chance to gather a greater one is 20%... so i should gave gathere about 100 Greater ones instead of 17... F.e. the Aethers drop is very close to the it should be... And bulshit me about luck - statistics dont lie..

4. What the hell is wrong with the prices in game?! Duping still items? Seriously, Fix that! A normal merchant cant afford to buy anything... When i started after i voted and got my 2m i could really buy for that money something, NOW i cant do sh1t without spending like 50m on some random sh1t!

5. Flying crap - well its not that hard to put the invisible walls, right?, so please do SO!

6. Hackers - ooh yeah gatto love them, huh? Dont know how hard it is to handle the situation about the hackers... Cos the "pro hackers" dont make them self god like - they just increase the attack slightly so no big diference but still that sucks big time!

7. Healing Boost DOS NOT WORK... :sick:

Most likely i forgot some things but feel free to add things to the list :rightful: and hopefully some of the will be fixed soon...

 

Theres alot more bugs than this, but gj so far... but yea I agree to most, especially the market becoming so messed up... its flooded with eat/gold medals and everyone is SUPER RICH even after the wipe for apparent reasons.

Note: buying credits paying tons of kinah still

 

Not going to get fixed any time in the near future unless Carl buys his way into Zetta core.

 

I get the feeling that's captaintoast or magictoast or godtoast or whatever the hell his name is from InfiniteAion, trying to spark some flame in the Gamez Forums. Failed attempt though. Honestly Asins Carl is aware of these bugs and is trying his very best to get staff to handle the issues but he can't make developmental progress if he has no active developers. He's fighting an uphill battle trying to buy upgrades for the server while dealing with withdrawn donations from angry customers who think that at the first sign of trouble, they'll take their money sneakily and go somewhere else.

I think you need to appreciate the effort involved with running a 6000+ player server, and cut down on the flaming, your just going to slow down the process by making Carl read useless repeated threads. If you really want faster progress on fixing the bugs, learn java, and become a Developer yourself, otherwise shut up and enjoy what your given. You should at least be thankful for the fact that your playing Aion for free instead of paying upwards of 10 dollars a month. You even get increased rates and a tonne of events.

I haven't even seen Carl post in the AL forums asking for help, let alone do anything else about the issues here.

What proof do you have that he's doing anything? Seriously. (btw, bringing on a DP dev from a dead open source project who has no commits under his name and claims that the server crashes aren't deadlock/memory leaks is not helping anything)

1. Server hardware upgrades are not a difficult thing to do.

2. People should be angry and getting refunds. Why should he get paid if he doesn't work? He's no better than any 13 year old who sets up an AL server from their house and tries to scam money through donations.

We peeked at the login server this weekend. Didn't see more than 1500 on. And weekends are peak player times.

Besides, our daily active player base is about 15x of here. So I kind of know what it takes to run a 6k+ server, and keep it stable, and fix things, and all that other stuff.

I may not be nice about stuff and sugarcoat things (sorry, it's like there's some sort of anti-bullshit device in me), but the first rule of anything is: Stay active with your community.

He's not even doing that much.

This isn't about a flame war. This is about players in the Aion private server community deserving better. I'll gladly welcome competition if Carl decides he wants to actually do something. But I feel bad for you and any player here when all he does is sit back, reboot the servers, and collect your money.

 

Why would you come one this forum just to ***** about Carl. Everyone knows your server exists, and noone here likes it, hence why we are on this one, instead of yours. Carl does work and he is active. A good example of this is I made new forum tags for the server today, as soon as I had finished them he came online, uploaded them to the file server, and the whole forum had new rank tags within 20 minutes.

One thing i dont get why the donations are refundable?? Would you donate a million to the "red cross", get good publicity and the go to the ''red cross" and say - Amm, sorry folks i'd like to have the money back!

A donation is a donation its not a bank or so.. You give money for the sake of a better server.. if ur not satisfied - thats ur problem dont ask ur money back!

And what i hear i think that Carl really is trying hes best, but the problem is we dont have a develpoer? I dont know anything about the zetta core but i guess they have the good stuff there, right? And we are blacklisted there? How did it come to getting blacklisted?

 

We became blacklisted because one of our staff members took their work and didn't credit or ask for permission. And nobody knows why Carls paypal donation system is refundable it makes no honest sense.

 

OMG, FORUM TAGS! DUDE, THAT MADE THIS PLACE LIKE 100X BETTER! NOW THE SERVER IS STABLE AND THERE ARE PROPER ZONE CHECKS SO PLAYERS AREN'T FLY GLITCHING!

And I come here for the drama. We don't get drama. We just get people posting bug reports so we can fix things. Quite boring for me since it's all work work work and no lolz.

 

Just ignore TGS(Toasty) he's been at it for awhile. Just another forum troll.
