Is sorceror getting fixed?

Was wondering if you would bring balance into the game by nerfing mages.

The dmg they give now is total bull.

Getting 1 shotted as a cleric is impossible.

I play retail also, so I know.

If you can destroy sorc before it notices its getting attacked, then you're good ^^
I doubt its ever gonna change...

 

some classes just have the advantage. If a decent sorc/ranger/sin gets the jump on you and you don't have friends around, things can go pretty bad (stupid 15k light/shadowburst).

it all depends on class matchup as well - a decent scout class should have very little trouble with a sorc, while a glad/temp is a MUCH harder fight.

 

use strategy, Rangers should have no problem with sorcs, chanters and clerics have good magic resist with their chain armor, and ur a glad or temp just accept that sorcers have an advantage over you and that rushing in going LLLLLEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOYYYYYYY JJJJJJJJEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNSSSSSSS is most likely just gonna give them free ap. I try to get the drop the on them when they dont expect it. Sometimes this means getting chased across the map by one until he loses interest or Im able to use the environment to lose him and then I turn around and go straight for him and kill him before he realizes I came back.

Well, short answer is no. Sorc damage calculations aren't exactly high on the priority list. If they change, it would be because of a random patch we get from Lightning. =/

 

Well if you asmo, getting targeted by elyos sorc that is casting light burst. Well I suggest try stop them or run. LOL With dmg boost and additional dmg which are both magnified with their buff and full socket MB you are finish. Lightburst does 8k dmg on duel with same race. almost 2x flat dmg. How much do you think its going to hit you if you are an opposing race?

GHp dont work. And If they nerf our dmg with rangers using arrow flurry like that It will kill the balance even more.

things are just as they should be.

Sorcerers Kill easy and die easy. But Noobs dont seem to understand that and QQ all day.
So if you are a cleric and you want to NOT be killed like that STAck GOD DAMN magic resist FFS.

 

I think all classes need to be nurfed to only fist combat, no use of skills at all .

For the 19385728575 time, sorcs are glass cannons, you can drop them in a matter of 2 seconds but then again they can drop you just the same.......

 

you just have to attack sorcs when they least expect it....

 

Unless you have ABG chain fully stacked with Mres stones, going Leroy Jenkins agains a sorc with any skill whatsoever is just gonna give them free AP and make u look like a dumbass.

 

Meh i leroy jenkins sorcs all day long and seem to come out with just a blister leaving them dead dead dead
