Aion game problem

Hi, i have the following problem: generally only when i am at heiron and when there's a lot of people, the game lags a lot (notice that im not talking about network lag) is something like graphical/cpu lag infact when i check the task manager i see that the svchost process takes a lot of cpu usage and windows becomes unusable.

I really dont know what i can do.. i have tryed to down the graphical settings (that is useless whit my specs), normally i dont lag while i play and the frame rate is always high, is like somethin freeze all when i am at heiron and theres a lot of peoples

My pc specs:
Core i7 920
Radeon HD 4870 X2
4 Gb ram
Windows Vista 64bit

Have you tried installing battle ping? or maybe u need an upgrade for your graphic card. Ü

 

change the cpu..you need some ram memory and a good cpu to run aion..

Windows Vista 64bit this is BAD PC? ,,,Ok the problem is not from you ^ ^... is from server ... is Over populated ...and a very very bad HOST

 

lol my cpu is a quad core whit 8 logical cores and the gpu have 2gb of memory i dont think the problem is my pc xD

the game runs perfectly at high settings but i dont know why the lag send the game on crap freezing windows and everything, maybe someone experience the same issue?

 

Try to use Shit+12, i think. That left a litle lagg behind.

 

well all of us experience this when in a place there are too many players..

 

thanks for the replies, is the first time that network lag freeze the pc like that, hope they slove the host problems soon

 

My server specs are worse than yours, and I can run around heiron without too much lag.
Would you mind using the /ping command and let us know what it's at in heiron on a bad day.

Because your specs are more than enough to run aion smooth, and if it were the bad host then a lot more people would have this problem.

Try latency leatrix fix, or battle ping if your ping sky rockets in heiron.


Edit: On a side note, Windows Vista sucks. xD

 

1st change your windows. Vista+games=SUCKS.. Your computer is perfect to play! Enjoy it. And you get probably lagged because the files of the servers are corrupt! If you get the original ones you probably won't get lag!

 

ok thanks then im gonna try what you suggest, cause is annoying to have to reset the whole pc when the lag goes high >.<

and yes, i agree with both of you, vista sucks and i hate this os xD imma change with 7 soon i hope
