Different classes have different run speed?

    See now it seems to me like like you rely way to much on your ability to run faster that every other base class. You have strengthen wings to break cc, you have ankle snare(Not my fault if you're to stupid to watch for FE), and have leaping smash. Plenty of skills to close distance, you just need ot learn when to use them and to watch out for counter skills.

    I suggest you play another non scout class on this server and try fighting a gladiator, when the situation gets bad there is no running away. You need to understand my point of this whole thread, 1 base class should not have the ability to run down every other class in the game, especially ones given skills to specifically outrun other classes (I.E. Rangers/assassins). This is a bug that needs to be fixed immediately.

    Im not saying for just glads to have the speed boost, but for the other classes, such as temps and chanters, as well. Rangers are OPed enough as it is. They dont need a speed boost. Besides when they want to ***** out of a fight they can just use sleep arrow+hide. Go look at the leaderboards and say that Rangers aren't OPed. I like the melee speed boost just so I can actaully get into fight so the enemy rangers dont kite everyone, and allied rangers dont KS everyone. Rangers have worg form and that goes plenty fast. And dont say Im too stupid to know when to watch out for focused evasion because I know exactly what it is.

    you're going way off topic here man. You know the point I'm making so stop complaining about how you crutch on it in PvP. The fact is its unfair for every other class. Each class should have the same base Speed.

    so that the rangers can kite everyone, I dont care about having a higher speed than the other melee classes, and sorcs and clerics need "warmups" for most of their skills, I think if this bug got "fixed" then rangers would rape even more because they can just kite everyone all day, and I if "crutch" on faster running speed for pvp then so does every other glad and temp because they run just as fast as I do

    glads have ankle snare, that can be easily countered by focus evasion, leap smash which is an advanced stigma and if u want it on retail you have to give up a shit ton of other skills worth having and instead go with a cpl useless crap skills to get the chain, tendon slice which is nice but most the of the ppl i use it on break out in a cpl seconds, and then theres charge which is a slight ten second speed increase with a frekkin 5 minute cool down,

    ya real awesome set up to close in against classes that can kite, sleep, and stunlock u from a distance, dont get me wrong I know how to play my class and can pretty much face roll most rangers I come across except for the ones who are lucky enough to get off sleep shot and then run off like and hide like *****es before I get lockdown on them, and no I never played retail or else I wouldnt be here on a high rate server where I dont have to grind hours one end like in the countless of asian mmos

    the melee classes need ways to get in and fight otherwise ill get go back to flight pvp where I can fly at max speed and know that no one can go faster than me without hacking

    basically Im just kinda put off by ground pvp in that its fun, most of the times its running all over the map, and when you do get in a fight as soon as one side loses a few ppl they all bolt and u then u have to run across the entire map chasing them down

    Seriously man o_o? doesnt work that way for me. 3 ,2 ,1 , FE , snare, wtf i cant move.
    but what you've said makes sense all the way down xD , except the first line. doesnt happen here :(

    once they fix fortress sieges, alliances, skills, Flurry Arrow, Bestial Fury, UD, the SM skills, dredgion, drops, AP bug, other bugs, hackers, dupes, armsfusion, //gmlist, the rarity of rifts opening, flight bug for heiron/belusan, and make the stun rate NOT 100%, I'll be perfectly if they "fix" this, but as it is, this isnt the biggest issue here,

    no when came 1.9 patch warriors got extra speed. so your info are bad
    with 22% speed boots you ahve 7.6 speed, and wariors 8.5 or something like that.

    Your kidding right... It should be that way or Glad and Temp will be the most lol chars. You want Ranger to have Speed like Glad with the Slow,Immobilize, Sleep and Stun arrows and traps........ Glad has what Leaping smash 1min and Anckle 2 min re-use Strenghtend wings 5 min. And damn Ranger has Tactical retreat. If u have more speed glad or temp has no chance. Glad has nothing to stun you. Assassins has theyr hide + stunlock combo and active skill for run speed if they have to run away. Chanter they have stuns and range stun. And they have heals. SM the speed is nothing for this char fear just pwn. Sorccer well that char have tons of skills to immobilize u and tons of dmg.

    P.P. And i dont want to say anything about the crapy blinding skills of Rangers and Assassins. Blinding Burst 25 sec and Sandstorm trap 30 sec blind... i thought that in pvp its 1/2 of this time. For that much time you can say a pray and Hello to the Obelisk/Kisk.

    nah we had speed tests about it a LOT of times with running scrolls and celerity mantra's were ina net cafe so our pings have the same so heres what my friend has an uber big character mine is medium size and other friend is uber small


    so the big ran 1st after 1 second interval i ran next after 2 second interval small char run= small char win i got 2nd and the big char was last ^_^

    pandaemonium near teleporter to the fountain in the middle

    on retail the classes that run faster are the assassins cause sprinting, templar and gladiators just run faster for 10 seconds when they use charge, archers runs faster when they use speed of the wing and/or mau form, and chanters got the speed mantra...

    without these buffs, all classes should run the same

    its really wrong a tanker catching a assassin in a run
    cause assassin were made to runaway against any classes cause they weakness, cause u know what happens if a good glad gets a good sin with blind burst on cool down
    the sin just get rapped, and well, u can keep running they will just chase u all map long and catch u all the time, so wrong lol, only class supposed to catch a sin was archer but not all the time, only with the 2k dp mau form skill, and the speed of the wing that doesnt stays up all the time, so still sin is like the runaway boy and its messed atm

    in every game assassins are supposed to run faster cause many times they are weak against tankers but they can micro them with speed and manage to kill sometimes,

    I would suggest a fix for these speed rates, and put all classes equalized as it is in retail, that would make more sense

    well we didnt use sprinting and the like we are glad sorc and chanter anyway -.- only celerity mantra and running scroll

    Bump, I would really love an explanation for this, Plate classes have it soo easy when it comes to ground PvP. It is physically impossible to catch or outrun a Glad/Temp on this server. Their base run speed is boosted by an extra 30% or so compared to every other class. They have the ability to run down any opponent (Minus Sin/Ranger who have to use specially designed buffs to run faster) or run away from any situation they need to get out of.

    Every class in this game should have the same base running speed, it really is quite unfair that they get such an advantage when it comes to run speed. With this 2.0 patch coming in "2-3 weeks" I really hope this issue gets resolved as adding a ground abyss would only make the Glad/Temp classes even more of a pain to deal with.

    Just my 2 cents.


    *Also* I know Gamez might not have any active dev atm who could confirm this issue but I know their are some people on these forums who are quite active with the people in charge of making the updates for most Pservers.

    In retail, sins run like devil! chanters with scrools run as fast and rangers also.... glads, sorcs and others in the same lvl running slower.
