Gold Medal Deletion: Project Goldmember

Greeting my lovelies, for those of you who got the obvious thread reference fear not there wont be any golden dingalings in this thread, however I do have some news for you all.

As you are all no doubt aware there has been a painfully abundant amount of gold medal duping over the months, most players who have gold medals actually have more than we've given out across every single event that's ever been hosted.

Because of this the economy has becoming increasingly skewed with the constant introduction of EAT/EGT not to mention Gold Medals becoming a currency in their own right for the "black market"

Due to all of this we have initiated a full gold-medal wipe across the game realm, every single medal will have vanished from existence just now. Until all possible duping concerns can be addressed we will not be introducing any more into the marketplace.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience, we are simply doing what we can to keep a safe and fair gaming environment for you all.

guys i dont want to be rude or nothing to alente, but he doesnt make the decisions by himself, so why not give credit to the others gms too?

 

I'm restarting the game realm now, all gold medals are now fully purged from the system.

 

Well I never had gold medals...only the cheapie ones solver >.>...

So, I guess I'll never have any gold, just not lucky =D

Will this also be the case for lumiel? I must say it its much more fair on lumiel since like noone will have gold medal gear wheras as on siel their are people who have the uber gear and newer people who now have no shot at it.

I don't play siel and happy Im on lumiel in this case lol but something definetly had to be done.

Why don't you guys broaden this dupe wipe policy? Like I hear godstones and stuff are duped there as well. I hope you guys keep a careful eye on lumiel as well from what I saw seems we get the shaft here as far as GMs go we only got adieuu.

Gold medals have not been introduced to Lumiel to begin with.
