[Comparison]50-55 Gear Stat Comparison

Got too bored this morning. So I just did this and hoping that it could help and lessen the recent threads of what's best or not.

To determine what gear you want, I recommend seeing BrokenWings' STAT GUIDE>The link to his thread is in my SIG. As for manastone socketing for specific class> I recommend for you to see one of Lakhane's Class Guide>The link to his thread is in my SIG.

"L2" is gamer slang for the phrase "learn to", ususaly expressed by L2P or L2P ur class; respectively Learn to Play and Learn to Play your class.

Great post. This is a wonderful resource. When its done perhaps find a downloading service (rapidshare for expample) to host it so peeps can download and access it more convientiently? Other then that 10/10.

just finished ABG today, Mastarius soon.

 

U just could have made something even more helpfull like: group plate sets in one sheet, leather, cloth etc... compating the type of sets...

 

hmm that talks about one whole set but what if they only need one part or they only have the money or ability to get one part. so they will somehow see the parts' stat, too.

When finished could you create a summery sheet? Say break it down by armor type with the total stats for each group of equipment something like:

-Plate
Fenris set = (P. Def) (Acc) (Crit) (Block) (Evasion) etc etc...
Anuhart Glad set = (P. Def) (Acc) (Crit) (Block) (Evasion) etc etc...
Anuhart Temp set = (P. Def) (Acc) (Crit) (Block) (Evasion) etc etc...
Mastarus set = (P. Def) (Acc) (Crit) (Block) (Evasion) etc etc...
EAT set = (P. Def) (Acc) (Crit) (Block) (Evasion) etc etc...
ABG set = (P. Def) (Acc) (Crit) (Block) (Evasion) etc etc...

-Chain
Fenris set = (P. Def) (Acc) (Crit) (Block) (Evasion) etc etc...

And so on and so forth. I know it would be useful for me since it lets me look at the total base stats of the types of players I can expect to kill and plan a customized manastone setup. Besides the usual "zomg is ABG soooo much better then EAT that I need to spend teh extra credz?" questions that this would answer. Good work btw.

instead of showing set bonuses below the table and item bonuses separately from basic stats better add these bonuses to base stats and rename last column to "Total with bonuses" in each set. then you can use this column to compare different sets.

 

ill try to add another column with that label. but i think it has to be more specific than just the word:bonuses.

also if anyone can confirm this: 5piece bonus and full set bonus are in effect together.

I have to confirm first if my query above is true. so that I can calculate and summarize the total stats of gear sets with set bonuses.

 

i can confirm, ALL set bonuses listed are added to character (so full fenris/miragent char gets bonus for 2parts + 3 + 4 + 5 AND full set bonus).

u put correct stats.
try to copy in-game links from database and see yourself.

Mastarius's Set in 1.9 == Enraged Mastarius's Set in 2.0
Also there is no such thing as plain (yellow) Mastarius equip in 1.9.

Bumping up the thread with comparison of EAT chain vs ABG chain.

Note that I'm using the retail stats (2.0) of ABG chain, not the bugged stats we currently have.


order : upper, greaves, pauld, gloves, shoes




The final comparison is:

ABG > EAT :
+12 evasion manastones
+18 magic resist manastones
+3 HP manastones
-7 magic boost manastones
-3 crit manastones
-3 magic accuracy manastones

Physical def -> -15dmg/physical hit = -3 attk manastones of enemy

I'm too lazy to do that for classes I do not play, but I think people might be surprised.

As it stands, regarding Chain armor sets, if you don't plan on socketing magic resist, just forget about ABG, which is vastly overrated, even if a little better than EAT.

Case of chanters :

- Crit/MagicR build -> gain of 15 manastone slots when using ABG, no contest

- Crit/HP build -> EAT=ABG, no different, or very very small

- Crit/Parry -> very small gain when using EAT
