What gladiators can do on a flight pvp vs a sorcerer ?

 

Ankle snare is your best friend. Also might want to use tendon slice every once in awhile to keep sorcs from running away.

 

Gl you'll beat all the nooks that way

 

yep, ankle snare if its not on cd, do your cleave skills, try to stun them alot then just roll them

 

Run ^^ nothing more than that, unless you have a cleric helping you..

In the case you have a healer with you, when you are trying to get to him what I would do is Ankle snare>Shattering wave if you are an elyos, then Cleave>Force Cleave or the whole cleave chain. After that you can try leaping smash to get really close to the sorc. Do auto stumble>crippling>draining. The sorc tho should be dead after stumble if you are well built

 

Well, if it's flying, I mostly just Cleave -> Force Cleave -> Earthquake Wave (Wanna see them run now. lol). After that I just do ferocious strike combo and they're dead really. o.o; Or Severe prec while they fly away

In ground PvP -> Ankle Snare -> Ferocious strike combo -> Aerial Lockdown -> /flowers -> Sure Strike. Pwned

I have many combo's, but I'll tell you the nab ones

And as Dementa said Tendon Slice is nice, when they're low HP and obv gonna try and fly away.

 

also, str wings should get you out of their pesky roots, and if you have an ABG chain set they are even easier. Earthquake wave and force cleave are your friends, snare and charge are the mechanisms that will get you close to him, str wings is the trick up your sleeve. and once you catch up to him, its easy peasy

 

no can do! ones they sleep u YOU are good as dead -.- sleep, cast 3 cast time buffs + supplication of focus + illusion then arcane thunda bolt 3 big nukes and glads are already covered by their own wings xD...

 

In other words. Get ABG Chain set, socket it with resist magic+14, and you will be anti-magic classes ^^

Sorc aren't that hard really.

 

with supplication of focus i doubt any spell would be resisted...+1k accuracy is no joke

ok lemme rephrase that, after 3 cast time buffs soul freeze(silence that way second wind is SEALED) same rotation... presence of mind is important also, once a sorc screws up hes also good as dead :smile:

 

I suggest ignoring what you've heard here and try to find your own playstyle otherwise you'll be a confused child

 

Let me remind you. Resist Magic and you can always second wind/improve stamina/stamina restoration before facing the sorcerer

And what manastones for gladiator and what godstone ?

 

I personally roll with 2 spears. One has blind, the other Silence. I use shift+z to switch depending on my opponent.

My manastone is odd, compared to other glads, I guess. lol, I go full attack armor, and just the spear with crit. xD
