Rankings suggestion

I'm sure many people are going to disagree with me on this but I think the format for the character rankings should be changed from highest kill count to highest abyss points.

The reason why is having the rank based on kill counts means pretty much nothing. It promotes spawn camping and any other underhanded way to get higher kill counts. Abyss points are much harder to get and, more importantly, KEEP. It takes much more of an effort, so I think they more accurately depict who the really good PvPers are, not just who spawn camps the most.

It's a PvP Server, kills happen all the time, abyss points are useless in-game, as the rates are high and with premium it's even higher, you'd get a crapload of abyss pots and never use the abyss points.

Spawn camping is legal in the high level'd area as far as I know, so don't see the issue. xD Could put an anti-camp-rule in Eltnen/morheim, but don't see why in Heiron or Beluslan. It's a high-active PvP map, so people can help easily if camped.

So... kills is just fine.

 

Use the search please. It was already and first based on AP but then it changed. Just a thought.

 

Yeah, but you can LOSE AP, you can't lose kill number. The fact that this server has 10x AP doesn't matter (This post is for Crystal, not Gamez), you still have to earn your AP and then keep it, which is harder to do than just sit at a spawn site and kill lowbies over and over again, which takes no skill.

EDIT: Also I didn't see anything in this section for THIS server suggesting this.

 

I agree with Knight0 though it would be nice to have it based on AP again, Since now that it has changed you have mor lvl 55s killing lvl 20s in morhiem or eltnen just because now it is based on kills so they don't care anymore. You also got to figure most times when you PvP and rift your with others and not everyone gets the count for the kill just whoever managed to either do the most dmg or get the last hit in. At the same time no matter how you do it you it someone will complain. me personally would like to see it change month to month maybe. Right now Asphel is #1 no matter how they change it atleast with having it most kills maybe someone could push him out of 1st,but if it goes by AP then Asphel most likely will keep it since last I checked he had about 6m ap no one of us is that close everytime we get that close we die or spend it... Asphel knows how to do it he comes out and kills ppl and if he sees more then like 2-3 ppl and he knows he can't do it e backs off takes a break for a bit ppl move on... So our only true way to get that top 1 position is by kills or asphel deciding he wants to be a hacker and get banned jk =). He is my nemisis =( <3 asphel

ahaha yea I just saw that <3 near 9m now lol like I said your a great player and unless u F up your gonna keep rank 1 lol and I don't mind. You worked hard for that and it shows. <3 I have only seen you die once Asphel nd that was a legion member of mine who killed you I got like 65k ap for it got govenor you got pissed came back and killed me and I lost it lol =(

So the only way for anyone tocatch up in rank would to do it bythe kills,but still 4k kills is going to be hard to catch up to with the server dying like it is.

 

It has been already once AP ranking but there were too many cheaters with like 50m AP...

Kills ranking is better since it shows who pwns in PvP

 

so that fair play and achieve the highest kill

Im wondering cant they CHG the LEGION RANKING to KILLS too?

why only the Player ranking? or they got some political issues?
try make the legion to kills and see wht happens ^_^V

 

I've seen players killing level 25 chars over and over and over also to get their kills count up. Also players do this same thing with the ap as well on high ranking chars so who knows which way is best.
