About Update to Aion 2.0

I'm probably not the only one wondering this; how exactly do we intend on updating to 2.0?

Allow me restate that, who is going to take their precious time and do this for us?

It would be a miracle to see Carl actually work on applying updates to Gamez for a change.

Perhaps, is this just another way for Carl to suck even more money out of Gamez?

 

I'm also wondering on who plans on adding all the spawns and loot tables lol. It'd have to be someone with retail experience and lots of time

 

They'll probably just be kinda random, like, take a mob in an area, make 5 spawn around that spot, and move to next area.

 

still will take at least a week + after the patch is added to spawn them all lol. Plus, I think they just mean the basic AL 2.0 packet support that will come out soon, not anything fancy. Unless AL churns it out.

 

I want to see what theyre going to do about fortress sieges. Because fortress sieges are a HUGE part 2.0 and without them its gonna be pretty much 3 extra maps with random crap.

There are a couple ways you can degrade down to 1.9.

I want ONE POINT ZERO to get fixed and be bugged free first

 

First of all I'm sure its not him doing the updating most likely its coming straight from AL because ZC rightfully kicked him out lol. Second of all, all the people getting their panties in a bunch over pets and other 2.0 features better not get their hopes up. If were lucky we might see rudra from item shop and well the maps? Idk I doubt those will be up either. As for pets their is no way they will be up when ZC is still having trouble with them. Then again....2-3 weeks...well we haven't gottten a update in like 4 weeks now already so.... let's see what "wtfbbq111oneone111" 2.0 stuff we get after nearly 2 months of no updates hahaha.

Think of Zettacore as some super hot chick, Karl wasn't nice to her so she dumped him and now he''s stuck with some fugly chick called Aion Lightning.

 

I like zetta core's updates, but the community can be a tad...annoying. AL has the better community. thats IMO, but zetta still has the better SVN. So iunno.

 

We already have a dev right? Nastus?

 

nastus is more of a rep from AL, according to his words. He's a DP dev over there. I don't get why he was given the dev title here since he kinda only came her to announce how adding another server would reduce crashes. He may look for bug reports to add over there, but he said he's not a dedicated dev.

Well yea but when it comes down to pservers the players want to see results. As we can all see we get mediocre results from AL at best.

 

true, but I meant it as a more of how to get access to the svn kinda thing. To get into zetta, you have to contribute a lot, and they are quite picky. So lets face it, most servers have a hard time getting access to it. Not to mention the ones who actually have custom updates and contribute a bit.

 

Well yea a core as advanced as theirs, I can't blame them. Not to mention their community was just fine and it was open before when it was AU until "some" people had to piss them off and take credit for their work lol.
