DYE suggestions..

Yeah i can't wipe my ass with that excuse, i want a legit reason from a GM why have they stopped.

 

Here it is: 90% percent of all whispers are regarding dye's... Which leaves us no time to go scope out hackers, or illegal fliers or trades. So that we can be more focused on those three things, we decided to just completely get rid of taking dye requests so we can catch those people who are making the game less enjoyable due to abusing the rules.

 

like ur ever online to help ppl with trades or other stuff..

 

they are online but invisible. coz they are dyeing their friends.

 

I get on line.. Only for like an hour or so.... Heaven forbid I have other things to do then sit in game 24/7... Also im usually on lumiel side.

We don't dye ANYONE, not even friends, and it would be really nice if you guys didn't try to bash GMs over every damn thing you can possibly think of.

You guys ask for something, we do that and then you complain us about not doing another thing. Bella is extremely active and doesn't go invisible, shes mostly on Lumiel though, when she is on she IS infact assisting with trades so do NOT assume things that you don't know.

 

then why does this guy in page 1 and 2 keep saying that he will get his armor dyed when he logs in. means he has a friend gm that will dye him. i dont bash of what i think of i just got that idea from lordsuffer's post. also assuming most gms are elyos. alente also always stay at sanctum and never in asmo. i saw this thread that alente transformed the elyos into chickens.

 

What abou remodel trick ?

Just remodel yours abg to some random white armor set. Then dye it.

Then remove remodel

And tadam ! Yours set is colored

 

1.) That isn't what players were doing. They were spamming our pms and going dye pls and not even knowing what color they want and requesting to try every color of the rainbow and more and even colors that don't exist on the humanly percievable color spectrum.

2.) The color of your armor is just about the least important thing in the game. If you can't color it, too bad. I'll shed no tears for you, and I'll be blunt and say I don't give a damn about it.

3.) And you can actually dye it, if you take the time to find out how.

im resorting do remodeling my set w/ the lvl 1 ~ 5 plate set . dye it first of course b4 remodlling.

 

Well the GMs and even Autumn herself have said there peace! id just grin and bear it. But i dont think ALL GMS play by the rule book, some are lazy, some are power Hungry, but the fact still remains is, most of them do a dam good job!

I don't know enough about Aion or the emulator yet, but I think it'd be possible to create Own NPC's through MySQL edits. If that would work, then one could easily set up a shop with coded Dye's prefabbed in different colors. Sure, that would take a day of work, but then there'd be silence of all the dye complaints.

Question is if it's possible. I only know from other MMO Emu's that you can do such edits, I'm not sure if it works on aion.

First, i don't really care if people can't follow the rules you guys put out there for dyeing, your the gm you enforce it.

Second, i get that it's not the most important thing in the game right now, but its a service you yourselves have been giving people, and for all i know, it's fared well and would continue to do so with ENFORCED rules about the dyeing.

Third, you say we can dye our armors ourselves but what the hell do you know really? people who has remodelled donated gear and what not, what are they supposed to do?

Your lack of actually "caring" as you say is not fitting of someone who has "power" you try to uphold the peace and keep the server clean, but if you offer players a service that everyone until now has benefitted richly from, and all of the sudden remove and say " i don't give a shit about dyeing you people go **** yourselves " i won't be putting out the fire beneath your feet.

We cant DYE ABG! i have tried! so yeah we are being kicked in the face to a certain extend!

but as i said before twice already on this post, GMs do have better jobs to be getting on with!

 

But now how can i dye my ABG armor y some day i decide to have one? there is no item.pak working to day AGB's, so only with GM's dye system it's possible to dye the armor. Or u only dye ABG's and EAT's (Donation Items) or make a new item.pak that allow us to dye our Donation Items.

(made in china)abyss use it as model for lvl 10 (trash/npc) gear then dye it. then use the lvl 10 modeled abyss copy to your genuine abyss gear and vavavoooom...

 

Dying system is gone and complaining about it won't help.

Now I understand a lot of players are upset at the fact we have stopped this service,
But have you ever thought of looking at it at a Gm's point of view?
When i got on, even before the screen would finish loading, i'd literally have 3 different dye requests.
I'd always try my best to take care of them but when players blatantly ask for colors they can purchase like "GM dye me true red" they didn't need us at all and have justed waisted our time we could've spent following a hack report, catching illegal fliers, and the occasional I SWEAR I WASNT DUPING (has 500gold medals in warehouse-.-'').

It was nice to dye players when they new what they wanted and gave you some new unique color to make them you have never seen before.

Regarding the idea about adding a npc for dyes and custom colors, I'm pretty sure it's modifying the game in an illegal manner. Though it may be a useful idea and i'd love to see it implemented, it could never be.

If you need dyes and a Gm stall is not open I always reply to player's mailing in dye requests(BUT I DO TURN DOWN PLAYERS AND MAIL THEM BACK THEIR MONEY IF THEY CONTINUALLY MAIL ME DYE REQUESTS THAT THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY JUST USING TO SELL FOR PROFIT. )

To send me a request for dyes and not to be dyed, Please send a ingame letter to my Character Angal.
You will have to list which color dyes you want and include 10mill for each one.

If this thread continues to become a troll-a thon i will be forced to close it.

Again, I apologize your upset about the current situation and to the creator of this thread I understand you were trying to provide a useful idea but sadly the responses have drifted from your original post.
