Gm response

does this server do any events anymore?!..i came back on gamez for 2 weeks and i haven't seen an event yet and i'm very active xD

I count over 30 events in the last two weeks in the event logs.

 

Ew autumn.. counting past 8 requires effort.

 

I agree that we could use more people. I'd like the app thread to be reviewed, but it's not within my own power to do so.

 

But you got the gutts and the ability to poke whoever has the power to review that thread so they can hire more GMs. But 1 thing I do hope in when they hire new recruits, pls hire those who have experience and has a good PR.

 

I actually am satisfied. I understand Tmac's sentiments, I was just like him a couple of days ago. However, if you pay close attention, things have changed. Take this as an example, http://forum.gameznetwork.com/showthread.php?t=26617.

I was the guy that sent a pm to Kevster about that hacker but I sent it AFTER the event that he facilitated. He replied "k", then I thought, "jeez :annoyed:". A few minutes later I saw that thread and I found out that the guy got banned immediately. I even saw my sin on the video. My point is, let's have a little bit of faith and a little bit of trust on our AMs because if we won't then who would? We've had a lot of AMs getting banned for power tripping (I recall a GM porting asmos in the middle of Elyos Square in Sanctum. I was there and I was like lolwut?).

If the AMs would like to keep their position, they won't do anything stupid.

 

I have the ability to poke, yes. Doesn't mean they will do it on my request. As for experience and PR...it's hard to tell with the applications. It's one reason I don't like them in general. Any noob can write a good app and lie about activity, exp, and whatnot. Not that I have a better idea for choosing, other than relying on other GMs to give feedback about what they think, and usually that ends up limited to people they know. (We had a similar system on Shaiya when I did volunteer work there and it ended up friends of volunteers getting picked..)

Sometimes you have to throw people against the wall and see if they stick. Only about half did last time Alente cleaned the applications..

When did dyeing armors become a better thing to do than investigating on missing items, helping with trade requests, banning hackers, jailing fliers, facilitating events?

 

Yeah, I know kevster is a good GM when he is on but im referring to other GM/s. Coz I know kevster do his job the the fullest of his abilities and that there was one time I asked help from him about some dye that was not so important and he replied on me back that he was about to sleep when he read my PM and he would port me in but it will be quick. I admire Kevster's sense of professionalism also because I dont get ignored ever time I whisper him even tho he answers on me sometimes wit "ok" or "k".

 

:w00t:hehe +1 to this about Kevster he has been doing a good job, i mean he cant be everywhere but if you pm him online he trys his best to help with the situation immediately one after another, and yes theres a few other gms that are doing a good job, but others still lacking those traits:w00t: but no one is perfect but they can always work on being better^^....so theirs the good and the bad...they come and go in all mmorpgs:tongue: But i vote for unsatifised/satisfied...so in the middle lmao....theres LOTS to be worked on...and things that are accomplished at times...once again the good and the bad:rightful: kekeke Gms^^ work on convincing carl to get the bugs in 1.9 fixed before patching keke....and also please consider all the players construtive criticism for all the best:smile:

 

That's why I'm asking you to please have a little bit more faith and a little bit more trust on our AMs. Out AMs are still human (I remember Alente saying this), they aren't automated answering machines that responds with a push of a button.

 

Didn't read through all the pages,but meh.
As a veteran player in GamezAion , I've been in the worst situations and the good situations of it.
At the moment - it's bad.
Staff - In my honest opinion , some GMs are doing their job , some not.
As an old Admin and GM in another game , the Staff was divided into 2 : Support & Community ( Events ) , or both.
I can barley see any events - recently it's just Trustfire's Tournaments \ RvR's.
As a GROUP OF AM's , invent new events , new prizes ( What's with the muffler system? it's the best thing ever invented in this server. )
If you're a Support GM , be active in forums - try to be active in game and hold as many as problems you can handle.
If you're an Event GM and you're not active- GTFO.
Not saying the Event GM's should be lifeless and dedicate their lives to GamezAion only,but if you're taking the responsibillity then accomplish it,atleast a bit.
When was the last time there were actual GMs communicating with the players?
In a 100000000% PvP server where you can't do nothing but PvP all day long - you pretty much need the unique and unusual kind of things GMs can provide.

Also,a month has passed without any Updates in GamezAion.
Pretty sure there will be a big update coming with the arrival of 2.0 - but still, Carl, don't let us live in the darkness.
Post a list of things that will be fixed or added in the future,to atleast show us something is going on.

I voted satisfied because I generalized all the GM Response. So please vote generally. Not by one gm or another. You guys have good experiences with other gms and with the others not.
