Special weekends!!

I was thinking... Is posible to have a special rates for weekends... Or... An special event with a special prize!!:w00t: Or the two things! ^^ Al the rates x150... Prizes like godstones... Or more kinah... Is only a suggestion :biggrin:

This thread is in Crystal so the rates are not super high. I don't see the rates going up for just a weekend Yosi but what type of event did you have in mind?

I think that a duel tournament between the same race with a special prize... 1vs1 race war... Events for full partys (6 characters) 6 vs 6 in the special maps... Duel de Gm... Kill the boss: 2 partys (one asmo, one elyo) one boss, for example tahabata... Kisk allowed... Who kill the boss win... Things like this ^^

 

These things are all good ideas thats why I play on another server occasionally when I have time between maintaining my legion and school and work. The server I play on occ I wont name,but they have daily events I'd say about 3-4 events or more they have like 4-5 Gms on all the time so most time you can just ask a GM for an event and most likely get it. One event that I liked was kill boss event. This event took a 2.0 world boss lvl 58 and you could only have 6 ppl in your group and you would kill the boss you got the boss loot and metals or something like that both races did this so it was like a competition to see who could kill this boss the fastest. 6vs6 would be good or even class vs class have like 6 ppl of each class and make a tourn out of it....

Another thing is that this server I play on is now high rate,but he did special weekend events once a month or w/e where exp increased for one weekend so with a active admin or w/e it is possible to increase the rates for a weekend.

 

Something I would like to point out ... Gamez is the high rate server as you all know. Crystal was made to be low rate and more retail like. I don't see Admin raising the rates just for a weekend when we have the option of getting a premium account and having higher rates. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to do that.
Secondly, monster spawn events can be done only by a Senior GM or higher. We do not have a Senior GM for Crystal so events are limited to: RvR, Duel the GM, Kill the GM, Hide and Seek, and Q and A.
I realize that you all are enjoying having events on a regular basis now but it wasnt all that long ago we never had events on Crystal. It was one of the reasons I applied for gm b/c we had no active gms at all. So just try to be patient guys b/c we are slowly making some progress.
As far as the special event weekends go, I will try to find something out and get back to you guys. :wink:
