I have never played Aion before and trying it out, and it looks okey till now. (Dont know ppl so its kinda boring :p).

Okey now back to the topic!
I got like 1 trillion skills to pick on, and for killing monsters iv found a "ok" way, so i was thinking about trying to check out the player-killing areas. I went to Morheim and well i got pwnd from the air, i went to this abyss place and well suprise, got pwnd again :p so i was thinking its something i am doing wrong, 1 of the problems is that i get attacked out of hiding people and i have no chance, but i c ppl do 1.2k dmg on me, and i have 4k hp (idk if compared to other sorc/classes if thats good or bad) and 9k mana.

I am using now, Tah Orb, Anuh jacket, gloves and shoes, the rest are standard monster drop items.
Reason idk how i get Anuh items i c on the forum everybody saying u do DP to get Anuh items, but i have never played Aion before so idk what DP is, how to do DP, where to do DP, i dont even know what DP stands for :whistling:. So ye...

I bought the items im using so now im broke XD and i have started to train my crafting skills, im stuck at 399 atm since im broke and cant afford the next level (until i vote now)... and i c ppl say u make money out of crafting scrolls/pots... but what should i craft and what is an avrage price of selling the items i craft...

And my main question would be, can a real Sorcerer help me out and tell me what kind of skills i should use during fighting duel/pking... played other mmorpg game, with very different combat set up so this is very new for me...

TNX and Peace Out from me :D

I'm no good at a sorc - but if you want to make a ton of money on this server get your gathering to 399p, your aether gathering to 300p+ and your alchemy to 399p and make scrolls (great run speed, greater flight speed, greater courage scroll, greater crit strike scrolls) and sell them. if you do this you will never have another problem with kinah.

Its all trial and error, and how you wish to play your class. Go out and work on getting a skill set setup on mobs then go out and try that setup on players. Can even sit in town dueling others working on your skill set (combos) to see what works best for you.

BTW are you asmos or elyos?

Also DP is Dark Poeta, a group instance to obtain the anuhart/taha stuff, you will need a decent party to farm in there, also some bosses are claimed to be bugged so you may have a hard time getting some parts.

Dark Poeta is an instance in Heiron, meaning that you need a group to enter, and I recommend you to get all our anuhart gear before going to raids. I have no idea why but I forgot the name of the entrance for DP, but you can always shout for a group to go DP. Secondly you said "you" went to raid. As a sorcerer you should pvp with a group, this is because sorcerers, even though they are nukers, they still as fragile as glass. Before going to raids, you should at least know what are you doing in a duel so I'd say become a good dueler, and you will be good to go.
Crafts. What really makes profit are scrolls such as courage, awekening, running, and flying. You can sell those around 2-3m each. So to get you started I will give you 100m, but first you need to know where to farm, and get your gear done, when that happens pm me.

Well the above people helped you with DP and money making, I`ll help you with PvPvE :).

First off, I`ll say that it really comes down to a players choice... but in general I`ll tell you what seems about the right thing to do.

As for PvE, you don`t want to be wasting tons of mana with your bigger nukes so go with the simple skills such as the Delayed Blast, Ice Chain-Frozen Shock, Flame cage, Flame Fusion, Flame Bolt-Blaze, Flame Harpoon. That`s pretty much the order I use to PvE, and it`s enough for a lvl 55 to kill the lvl 50 mobs with (with a bit less then 2k MB). If you have less MB, I don`t see the point of kiting if it`s a normal mob, so just feel free to use the `quick spells`, so Freezing Wind as by this time the mob will reach you. All in all, you can get used to PvE easily without no pressure, however in PvP there is always pressure.

As for PvP, all I`m going to say is that you want to be the initiator. And with that said you don`t want to let your opponent do pretty much anything, so always remember to keep him CC`d and at a distance. So basically if you are catching someone by suprise (he is killing a mob lets say), use Sleep as it`s a 2 second cast (biggest cast out of all CC). You use sleep so you leave your other CCs for quicker response later on in the battle. You want to get your opponent down as quick as possible :). So basically, the `usual` move is to Zikel`s or Boon of Str, and then use Big Magma Eruption (it will cast, but do the damage 4 seconds after the cast, so it won`t break your CC), and use your Glacier Shard. This should be enough to take out a fewer percentage of the opponents, and mostly take every class down to a minimum (except templars). From here on you continue on with trying to CC right away. So at this point since your broke the previous CC you want to cast as fast as possible, so use Illusion Storm... or the other way you can do it is cast a protective shield (ie. Illusion which blocks 2 attacks, or Boon of Iron Clad which blocks damaage for 5 sec), and at that point land your curse of Roots. Once the target is CC`d, do Delayed Blast, and Flame Spray, and it should be pretty much the end of any battle.

Remember though, this is just the the general tactics. Fights never turn out to be by the book,... at some points some classes stun you like crazy (at which you should be shielding right away and trying to get an advantage by landing a CC), and at others, you have players that overgear you (yes, gear is a big part of the game and is quite recognizable).

One more thing. Above was pretty much PvP against an opponent. As for larger fights,... never try to fight more then 1 person, specifically because you are under geared, and as well new to the game. So I`m saying is that once you get the hang of the 1v1s, and when you get better gear, then you can be trying 2-3 players at a time.

Oh sorry. CC = crowd control. Or in this case `sleeping` the person, or disabling him in a way.
