Pros :

+ Oh look! We can customize the database
+ I donate, I can pwn non donators.

Cons :

- Disrupts game balance
- Introduces non needed item.pak hacks
- Reduces the choice in gear and produces idiotic players (abg best!)
- Destroys the value of other armors and kills game diversity
- Probably will increase even more dupes/scams in ABG trades
- You can bet it's gonna be glads that want +200 crit and +100 attk as a set bonus, retards.
- a gazillion other reasons that I'm sure people will come up with.

And the number one reason :

Don't do work that's not needed. Fix what is needed.

before i say anything, i'm saying this based on abg leather, since i use sin.
as you can see, abg is nowhere near as imba as ppl claim.

the amount of advantage in eva,magres,phy def is so small, i don't think it have any significant difference.
126 phy def = -12.6 in dmg only, doesn't even matter.
and 352 HP.(in 1.9 the total HP abg leather give is less than 1000, so in 1.9 EAT.leat > ABG.leat)

The eat advantage from abg are 10 phy atk more and 42 more crit srike and 2500 credit cheaper lol.

considering both advantage, i don't see why ABG is any stronger than eat.
i think the EAT worth the credit more than ABG.

and remember ABG is a lv 55 armor and it cost 2.5k more than EAT.
then why souldnt it be any stronger than eat?

abg without any set bonus is = EAT, and it cost 2.5k more credit.

The reason why is because it's supposed to have a set bonus, also 7 manastone slots.

ABG gaining set effects wont happen.
247 eva advantage is ALOT for sin/ranger.

 

I've made the same comparison like a month ago but aiondatabase lies in the HP stats.. ABG should have more HP even without set effect.
(I'm against this idea anyways ~ unfair advantage for donators)

if they add custom set it will be only for donate purpose like all private servers and the server stops that moment follow retail updates ...

 

indeed, if they do that server wil bcome even more unbalanced, now if what they want is to have more donators then this might work for them but then again, i wouldnt consider a server fun when its like donators>normal players

 

If they add stats, they should make it obtainable ingame as well!

what i'm saying is , both are donators item , but why there's almost
no diffrence that makes the 2500 more credit worth while?

and yes the stats in aion database aren't that relieble the ABG set bonus HP are only 700++ in our current 1.9 which make eat leather in 1.9 > abg leather.

don't know about gamez 2.0 abg bonus hp , since i can't login to the server to check

 

Non donators can get ABG without donating as well...Idk what the problem is, as it stands the EAT set its pretty much the same as ABG which makes no sense obviously the ABG set should be better. DOnators get EAT sets as well so I don't get what the argument is. Not to mention mo matter what set get buffed the nondonators are not getting EAT or ABG regardless since there are no more gold medals.

 

TBH other than cost the main reason I chose EAT over ABG was because ABG has no set bonuses
