Well i cant remember the correct wording as it is not my department in work, but the '2' represents the 'Master' build which of course hit Retail at '1'.

Anything past that '.0.0.4' are just small changes within the 'Master' which usually consist of minor bug fixes.

So TooKrazy is yet again correct ^^

Aslong as it is '2.0', things SHOULD be ok

I gonna try to edit the version file in aion folder and put on 2.0.0.3(ofcourse its a fake update) and see what the nclauncher do

 

i have downloaded on torent 2.0.2 client, and update it to 2.0.3 with NCSoft. when he started to download update to 2.0.4 i cancel it and deleted that file from aion folder just in case. i think that will do the trick, but im w8 to server update also, so ill try with 2.0.3 and 2.0.4 versions,and tell you guys if i have problems

 

I got the exact same version of the game..

Still can't update it.. -.-

That's my problem.. I guess something in my client must be wrong.. There is no file called Aion_Main_2.0.0.4
just a file called Aion 2.0.0.0 to 2.0.0.4.. and If I delete it.. it still updates that version..
And my launcher says I'm using 2.0.0.0 Version.

 

Like I said, I've trying to edit the version file to 2.0.0.3 aand see what the nc launcher do, so it recognisi its in 2.0.0.3 and update to 2.0.4, and again, we have no sucess, but I think we are getting near solve it.

 

'Aion_Main_2.0.0.4' is the file you need

When you delete the file, the launcher will revert back to 2.0.0.0

Update the client again so that the server version and client are both 2.0.0.4.

If not could you upload an image of your desktop like i have so i can see the version number.

If you look closely, You gonna see that the Cryanimation.dll have 1.376 and the Cryanimation.dll.P-A-T-C-H-E-D have it too! Maybe they are identical?

It's clearly a Client Error..
I guess I'll have to get the Bin32 File again.. looked for it.. noone posted any..

Uh. Did you try to delete bin32 and run a repair? o-o

That usually always works for me when I get an error in the bin32 section, as I have too many non-related to retail Aion stuffs in it.

 

Delete bin32 = NCLauncher Won't recognise the game..
It's a .dll library...

 

can i still use the dxwebsetup for patching??xD

 

Confused... The actual launcher is broken?

Here's an idea, go to ncsoft's website, and fill in a technical report. Register your email and ask them for some help, they usually reply within 2 days.

 

Nevermind.. managed to update my client to 2.0.0.3

for those who have the same problem as me
just use the 2.0.0.2 for now..
