    as alente said there will be a 2.0 item pak released. but alente might decide not to release it untill we all are settled in with 2.0 for a time being. but who knows

    Using a 1.9 item.pak file with the 2.0 client will cause numerous and rather.. severe errors.

    We strongly advise against it.

    If a 2.0 item pak is required we will release it when we patch the realm.
