Elder armor cant be dyed unless used for remodel?

I wonder if Elder items can be dyed. I have remodeled my armor to elder leather, apart from the shoes which are elder. I've been able to dye every piece apart from the shoes, so i wonder if elder items simply cant be dyed unless you use them to remodel something else?

Can ad that when i try to dye them, i dont get any error message saying they cant be dyed or anything, nothing simply happens and i still have the paintbucket in my inventory.

 

You need to remodel your target item to some white shop item. Then dye it. Then remodel it to elder.

And baam. You got it dyed

 

haha oh dear xD might as well wait till i get anuhart shoes and remodel them to elder.

 

I have some issues remodeling Elder items. I have Anuhart items remodeled to Elder but when I try to dye them it says that "... cannot be dyed" I tried it with a GC item but I got the same result. Then I tried remodeling an Elder item to some white item and dyed it after that but it gives me the same message again and again "... cannot be dyed".

you got it backwards.
remodel white item into elder
dye the white-item-that-now-looks-like-elder

if you did the above right, you'd be able to dye without problems

 

sorry my bad I remodeled the white one to Elder. And it gave me the same message that I cannot dye that items. And I don't get it why because I did everything like in the description's on the forum.
