Running windows xp, item.pak isnt working...

    hi, im running on windows XP, and my item.pak for 2.0 isnt working, same thing happened to me with the 1.9 item.pak, i was wondering if its my comp being XP, and everyone else's being vista and 7, or is it something else??? if anyone has windows XP and has fixed the problem, or still has the problem, could you please post here???

    i have XP and when my game was working(its not working for now some strange issue) i dint had an prob like that so maybe its something wrong with ur pc or u just use wrong item.pak..

    nah bro, im using the item paks that alente posted, cuz this isnt the 1st time, im doing exactly what they tell me to do, but i noticed in all the pictures and videos of people doing it, they arent running windows XP...and i saw somewhere in another thread that there was a problem with the 1.9 item.pak and windows XP as well...

    I have the same problem with the item pak if i copy the files into my client it breaks it and i have to reinstall the whole thing to get it to work again

    ok, you know how theres 2 folders, for items and npcs and then in the USA folder, theres the ones under that? do you replace both of them, or just the USA folder...?

    Copied the 2 Folders Inside the USA Folder and Pasted over...

    Example Location of your Aion Folder: D:\Online Games\NCsoft\Aion\Data\USA

    idk man, this isnt my comp and i aignt buying a laptop/new desktop just to play, and i agree with you, we do need an update...i went from windows 95 to windows XP in like 2003, thats just how old fashioned my dad is....SMH

    Sometimes it isn't bad to Use Dual OS.

    Personally im using WinXP for my Old progs that is not applicable for Win7.

    I'm Using Dual Boots OS.

    Never had problems with my Aion Client on Both OS.
