Reality is not real. It's too real to be real, thus being unreal.

 

Well, reality... Reality is wat ur brain can understand within the limit of its fanctions...

Just because your brain can't comprehend what else is out there means that it isn't real?

 

There is a HUGE difference between wat is real & wat ur brain can sence AS real...

 

Reality doesn't have to be confined to what your senses tell you; what you smell, what you hear, what you see, etc.

It can also be what makes sense to you, in the end reality is in the perspective of the viewer. One might watch a 'reality show', because its made upon something thats real, an actual event happening, but how real can you define something that was filmed? In the end, whether or not the people in shows are given scripts, when you introduce a camera into a public area, its going to automatically alter the personality of anyone that notices that they're now on TV. Some people may stay away, because they don't want to be on camera, some people may act like retards because they want to look cool on TV. We classify scripted shows instead as sitcoms or dramas etc, but never reality even if they could be completely based on real events.

And even then, even if a show is completely fake, or if you're on your computer playing Aion staring at your boobs that you set to maximum because you can alter almost any bodily feature, its still reality because youre living it, whether its physical or psychological, its part of your day and time that can never be undone, its a part of what you've done in your life forever. I consider that reality.

 

Hm, you're right at that one. You can take color blind people for example, they can't see a certain color, but it's real.

Yar, but the question was what is reality? I'm sure there is a huge difference, but you're saying that reality is what your brain can make out, and from that I assume you are saying anything that it can't make out is fake?

Sure, but being in medicine I'm sure you've studied how our vision works? There is things we just can't see. So our brains can't comprehend it. Does that mean it's not real?

Simple example for u:

The reality for ur brain seems different than the reality for the brain of a fly... U realize in different ways, u can see less colors than a fly.

Fly can see over 120 color tones of red but u can see only like 10+/- ...

Do you think that there are more than one kind of reality?

There is only one reality. You can't have multiple reality as it would conflict.

What happens is that the brain only takes bits of it. Just like we, humans, can only see till an amount of FPS, but machines can see more. Thus, seeing more of the actual reality.

Indeed, reality is all psychological imo, I mean living proof of that is the reality that someone with a mental illness might live through. Their mind might be ****ed up, and they could interpret things completely different from you, but to them its their reality, you can't really say its not real because for them every bit of it is as real as it gets even if it makes no sense whatsoever to you, the bystander.

Our psyche changes from person to person based heavily on our experiences growing up and what we've had to go through, or lack thereof, and everyone has varying personalities and opinions. We may consider general ideas as reality but you can't really confine it to one simplistic ideal for everyone, everywhere.
