Got problems with item.pak 2.0 even after following guide? Check this.

Hey guys

For those of you who still have problems with getting your item.pak to work for 2.0 even after following the guide on the forums, heres a few things you need to do:

First of all you need to download the 2.0 item.pak etc. from here:

Next step you need to replace the folders 'Npc' and 'Items' in Data folder:


Next step is, inside the Data folder there is also two folders called 'USA' and 'Europe', what you have to do here, is replace the 'Items' and 'Npc' folders inside the USA and Europe folders like you did in the Data folder as seen above.

Now, if you have done that, open your gamez client as admin, start game and there you go.

[Caution] The result of getting it to work like this has only been tested on a Windows Vista while running the gamez launcher as Admin.

1 prob....i run windows xp....and i cant run gamez client as admin on xp....

 

Try running it without admin, I run all my games as Admin by default x_x

 

just did it and now i cant enter the game anymore =.=

K, now Iam confuse...

NCSoft\Aion\Data\USA\Items

The NPC.pak goes in

NCSoft\Aion\Data\USA\Npcs

But now u tell me that I have to change the files first in Data folder, and then in USA and EU folder???? Thats replacing 6 files if Iam not mistaken. Is that right???

 

As you can see that when you download the Data.rar theres two folders in it, one called 'Items' and one called 'npcs' those two files in the downloaded Data.rar I replaced with the excisting ones inside my Data folder and inside the USA and EU folder inside the Data folder.

Dude nice job here, i have try all the other options and faill , with this i can trade again my items , once again a big thx and keep it p the good work!

 

His method of fixing this issue is stated in my guide and Asanka's if i remember correctly

 

Only one problem , i tested the item pak , and no problems to log in , but... when you put the items in the broker they dont appear any suggestion?

worked for me... I know Asanka thread is for XP users but i use Vista and it work so... ^^
