gm's job?!

hei gamez community this thread is for constructive criticism only so no flaming/trolling here please..
My Obseravations:

1)in the last month i didn't see events..
2)in the last 2 weeks they don't dye anymore..
3)after 2.0 they don't have anymore scammers and don't do trades neither..
4)i don't think that 99% of the community are hackers to take care off but only a small part just 0.5%..

My Questions:

1)so what are u gms really do right now?!
2)what do people expect from u to do on gamez?!

 

they help people with problems, they investigate hackers, they moderate forums, etc behind the scenes work

 

i saw one GM who is looking at players.. im mean investigating players.. he even said that "your sacrifices will be remembered" ahaha.. LOL.... and you know who you are GM..

 

a long time ago they were doing all that stuff including events/dying and much more with now problems..

 

They just log in chat with their fellow GMs and //hide so that no one can pm them when players use //gmlist.. Geeezzz lazy bastards.

 

Flight buggers are gone now as well so patrolling Heiron/Beluslan isn't on the list of things to do anymore, now it's just general help/investigating hackers that's taking place.

 

We are discussing new ideas in private.

If you didn't see events, you must have been more inactive than anyone.

 

if you dont like the way the GMs are handling things then make an app yourself and if you get picked you'll know first hand how tough it is to be a GM

 

i'm on like 12h a day gmt+1..aah ok it's good to hear that u are discussing new ideas^^

:devil: Yep, easy to be a player... and then boredom strikes them... then "boredom" is placed on the shoulders of the GMs, which I do not know where that idea came from.

Well, there is surely a mess in Staff team since we see GMs to quit every now and then...

Right now, I see them moderate the forums more than being in game since we don't have a pure Moderator.. We did had events the whole month. But the ungly truth is that some GMs can't manage to handle PMs, bans and events at the same time, so that's the main reason we don't see events every day..

(-we should have at least 1 event/day but watever...this is Gamez, I've learn to not expect much...-)

Tbh, people expect from GMs to be Super Duper Moderators with supernatural powers to do 1 million things at the same time. They expect grom GMs to quit their RL , live and breath only for Gamez and nothing more...

We just need more GMs who will be active during different timezones, not only during US peak hours... Planet earth has 4 different timezones (-other say we got only 2 but w/e, it depends on the wat to see things-), so we should have covered each timezone by 2~3 GMs, if u do the maths it's around 8~12GMs all together. This way we would have events and no hacking problems ^_^

 

i'm not accusing u guys that u aren't doing a good job..is just that i'm here since the first days of 1.5 and there the situation wasn't like it's now^^

 

Well yeah, a lot of us got overwhelmed, but I'm still proposing ideas to pay back the frustrations you guys had. >_> 0 replies yet.

hey gms how about patching/ adding an NPC which does a BATTLE GROUND style ground pvp every so often

Every lineage 2 server has it... So you guy should to.. it will allow you to open ideas for other events.


(seriously 15min TDM elyos/asmo - winners get x amount of medals/ losers get silver or w/e

 

tbh I think Edi and Kev is doing a good job and they're very capable in this position, esp when he said that the evidence is insufficient in the previous thread which similar with my observation earlier. It's a lot more swifter if they'll talk about it privately, let's just bear with them for the moment.

 

If i remember correctly, the GM commands in-game were not functional except for maybe the /kick command. So there wasnt much they could do.
