Building a temp...

Hey guys can someone tell me what MS should in this armor and weapon? I wanna be full tanker build...

Dont wanna kill...
Just wanna tank...inched:

ABG Greatsword
Mastarius Set

 

HP and maybe parry, you'll get enough block alone from shield stances.

 

Magic resistance, obviously.

 

I Have Reasons to believe Parry is not so useful for templar ^^
I'd Suggest you Add one of these:

HP + Attack
or
HP + Critical
or
Critical + Attack


That's what my templar friends use.

Some of them use Only HP.

Magic Resistance and Block maybe are good too , i don't know..

Well add M.Resist or HP

My friend has only HP which is good against both mages and fighters.

I'd suggest hp.

 

Go full abg + hp and crit stones...

 

Magic Resist + HP (Better Choice, Flexible against more job's like Magic Type, Greater Resist)

or

HP + Parry

they say u get enough block because of shield but that is not enough when people like sin,s etc raise accuracy from buffs

.... whenever you use manastones on a characacter class u have to consider what that class "stat" is its highest and RAISE IT temp are blockers u dont need hp u already got high hp u need to raise your block rate above everyones accuracy....

and keep in mind all melee class with decent gear has an accuracy of atleast 2.1k - 2.2k

whatever stat it is you are trying to improve (block ,parry,evasion etc) and it does not go above this will not matter and you would have only wasted your stones and your slots lols......

 

well they are all being stupid because froma begining u said u wanted to be a tanker so what i would recomend is block and magic resist templars barely parry and block is way better because every time u block ur shield block a hge amount of damage!! magic resist works agaisnt magic classes and will also help u for not getting CCed

 

Well a tank for PvP or PvM?

Well its two different sets really. If its PvM youd want block/mres but its its PvP youd want mres/hp because in PvP there are alot of accu buffs to kill your block rating, so you need to make sure you can take a hit or two, and for PvM the monsters dont really buff themselves, so a high block/mres would keep your ass alive.

And like for item sets, ABG is geared twords PvP defense, so if your going after PvM, you obviously dont want that as much. lol

 

hmmm.... my friends are helping me to get mastarius set so i think im just gonna put HP MS in them... Thanks for responding guys.... btw im gonna tank for PVP

Tanking isn't so much forPvP....
For PvE I use Crit to 400 then block on my shield and whatever is left I put attack in.
The reason being is a higher crit rate allows you to hit twice as hard and deal double damage most times. This helps generate ag. I see clerics use MR more than any other class just so they can boost their concentration stats. If wanting MR go withMiragent set as it has excellent MR stats for a tank. PvP wise go HP and block to 2k base then let the rest of block skills do the rest. With skills on my block is at around 4600. The other posts are correct about HP...unless you wantto be hit alot and just let them eat all your HP...its a weak build. Use things that bolster your skills and you'll be fine. Been tanking over a year in aion since pre-release. Many have used my builds and not once has anyone said it didnt work.

this is'nt for tanking only.. am asking for tanker and killing as well. howbout block for tanking and magicboost for killing?? is it a good idea??? reply if not^^

 

Don't go full magic resistance or you'll just be another low-hp narb who I can 1-2 shot without even trying... and you would be weak against the general 80% of the playerbase that are rangers/gladiators/chanters/assasins.

 

full HP 95 is a safe bet... you should go for it ^^

and some templars complain why i do 2xxx damage on them lol maybe u should just add block most templars i fought if i beat them for like 30 seconds they whine and tell me ima hacker just because they cant block my hits LOL
