Can't pass 449 in any craft

So I attempted to get my cooking to 500 tonight, couldnt get it past 449 on my ranger, believe me I tried everything. I read that you couldnt master more than 1 craft so I just spent the last hour and a half getting cooking up to 449 again on another character and it's still stuck at 449....

I would really love a response that would help me and not one that will tell me to try something I've already done.

 

ive been having this same problem actually, it seems like its something that may have been recently misconfigured as i know several people have gotten past 449 but not recently

 

I have master Alchemy on 1 character and master Armorsmithing/Weapon on another. I dont think it's an issue having two crafts mastered. Seems pretty dumb to break the ability to get Master with the patch needed to get the mats for it.

 

u can master 2 master to 500 if you are cooking 500 and another 500 your choice...

 

Then explain why it wont let me upgrade from 449 to 450? I'm pretty sure I explained that I had an issue getting past 449.

 

in that case your character is bugged... report it to gm...

 

Believe me I've tried, they are more prone to ignoring people's issues than helping them.

No it's not an issue to master 2 crafts on 2 characters. You can't master 2 crafts on 1 character. You can get 2 experts and 1 master but not 2 masters. You can get to 399 on all crafting on 1 toon as well. But the problem isn't that issue at ALL! The problem is when you go to do your expert test at the bench, you get stuck there and it tells you that you can't close the window while you are crafting. It just freezes you there and you arent able to do a thing. Only way to escape it is to act like you are going to log out then hit cancel before it logs you out. Would really like to get my Expert test done so I can get my master status and my gold crafting hat. Sorry for the spoiler there. I can't make the drenium weapons or anything above 449 for those recipes until the expert test is finished. Those recipes are for Masters only. Experts can only make up to 449. You may be able to get more than 449 but you have to take expert test to make the master items I believe. Can any GM address this?

 

You dont even need to do the expert quest, you can upgrade from 399 - 400 by just using the NPC. The expert quest is available from every quest NPC before you even pick up that profession so that should already tell you its useless. The problem is that in one of the recent updates they broke the ability to pass 449 in any craft so now its impossible.

 

You aren't listening/reading...
I KNOW you dont have to take the expert to get to 449... but you do have to take the expert to make Master items. and Master is at 450. So it behooves you to take the expert quest or all you have done is just get a bunch of points into a craft that the points do nothing but get used as trophy to say you spend all your time crafting instead of anything else. I'm stuck at 449 too... Tried expert test to see if tht what was holding me back...so chill...

Then we thought we had to do the [expert]quest from Alchemy and... we got all items that needed and it wont let us craft the items when we press CRAFT it just stays there dooing nothing and we have to relog becausein chat it says ur still Crafting,

Probably lol, I spend a few hours leveling it to 449 on two characters only to find out both of them didnt work.

 

I really hope we can get a quick fix in with in the next day or two.

I have the same problem too. Stuck at 399 and 449.
Some of my friends have over 500 level at some skills already :l
