    My reasoning for going blind was that silence works against casters. The main issue with killing casters is getting close to them. Once you get close to them, they are easy. But silence won't help you with that. It will only work if you proc while hitting them. since casters die fast, there really is no point right there. You probably won't even get lucky since you don't hit them nearly as much as a melee class. Plus, if you are already hitting them, they shouldn't be too hard to kill.

    Blind is the exact opposite, it can be used versus melee classes and will proc much more at efficient times also.
