Well on this server we only have users and donators. Ok let's look over this...
Donating, like said before, is contributing for a cause like the church or any other organization that collects funds for that same cause that they defend. Well if we look at this I don't see anyone donating for maintaining the server I see people donating to acquire benefits (ABG, EAT etc etc.) so I'd call that purchasing just like a costumer.
And one more thing if this is all about donating and not trying to Sell stuff why would the access to certain items be limited? and yes by saying this i mean for example making certain items untradable. That is like having someone pass by that same "church" and be pulled inisde by force for a donation. So when you want to implement a word you gotta look over it's real meaning unlike some political argument, through reality distortion. >.>

The Donation goodies like ABG are simply a gift to say "Thank you". Many organizations and businesses that receive donations often give donators a gift for their contributions in the hopes this will ensure repeat donations from that donator, and also in hopes of creating more donations through word-of-mouth. That's how the business world operates in the real world. Not all businesses are profit only businesses. Nobody has forced anyone to make a donation to this server have they? Until it becomes a forced donation it's still a donation. You can't just twist things around to make it suit your definitions and desires.

 

how can u consider ur self a customer when u dont donate ^_^

that may be the case, but people dont start these private servers unless they can come out ahead in the long run

 

the community is so big, and if they are suppose to listen to every custommer they can't do anything for the community. cause everyone has a different opinion about stuff.. im a Developer on one of the MMORPG's myself, so i know how its like and i don't blame the staff for anything.

I agree with this.... If you guys don't like gamezaion then GTFO... They made it untradable because lots of player are abusing... If they wont do this the server will go down.... and i don't think people want that to happen....

in most cases they make the decission that will get them the most donation, sure these private servers may not have "customers" per say, but they are run a lot like a business, a lot of people simply dont have the time, money and effort to go through with all the work of starting a P server if they don't think theyre gonna come out ahead

Sure the majority of the players may not donate, or may just donate a small amount but there are also a lot of people who donate hundreds or even thousands of dollars to the Pservers they play on and a few rake in a TON of money, and ultimately the owners are gonna make the decisions to get them the most donations even if they end up pissing off a lot of the other players who are unwilling or unable to donate

It may not be fair or right, but its something people either have to accept and get over, or just leave

 

i don't think so........ that why people want to make the untradable to be tradable is because they have lots off account will the server has a good idea of stopping them....

 

the best way to get rid of multi voters is to remove the webshop or disable it................
