Glad crit cap

My question is whats the PCH for glad? is it 440 or 540?

Thoughj you may want to go over it for those special people who have full +15 ABG.

 

After gamez updated to 1.9, chlora announced that the soft cap was 540.

Just because it's the soft cap doesn't mean you need to stop putting crit in though, I'm not the highest DPS gladi for nothin'.

 

There is no cap, right? You could stack full crit 17's and run around with 1k crit. Not saying you should do that but seen people who've done it. >_>

 

Their is no "true" cap. As in it won't stop going up. But most people stop after a certain amount.

 

I have 886 passive crit, and all I ever see is a big yellow word next to my attack damage. It starts with a C.

I would have more but I chose to add a few accuracy stones.

1k crit = ~65% crit, but the thing is, strike resists won't affect you one bit.

 

Both my glads have around 450 crit, and 800 Attack, when I go pvping I use food and crit scrolls to raise that crit, and I have pretty awesome DPS

I reach about 550crit with food + scroll so i guess 540 works fine as a soft cap and i have 950attack with this crit rate.
Works fine in pvp , I crit pretty often.
However I've tried out going full crit on my chanter and i managed to get 1k+ crit with all mantras.
(Not sure that crit cap is same for every classes) , but my chanter critted like 9/10 times , and the funny thing is that i can crit the same amount with my gladi if i'm a bit lucky

 

Yeah I rock 580 crit with food + scroll and right around 440 with out food + scroll. I have like 766 attack and 2330 accuracy with food. Have yet to meet someone to take me 1 on 1 in gelkmaros.

 

True! Soft cap simply means that after that point it comes with diminishing returns. Or basically it doesn't do much good after the soft cap point is reached.

You are one of the few smart ones as Glads are attack, not crit based characters. Assassins on the other hand are crit based but after 450 Crit I stack attack on them as well. They get a skill to increase their crit by 100 for 1 minute so 550 crit for 1 minute does more than enough crit damage to an enemy. Not to mention assassin gear hs crit built into it so reaching the cap through foods/scrolls/gear, makes it easier to reach the soft cap and start adding attack for even higher damage output.

 

No, gladiators are meant for BURST damage / tanking.

If you're saying a gladiator doesn't need crit than you obviously don't play one or don't know how to play one.
