Oh, this post was a bit annoying.

Actually, I hate to say it but it is actually most common for a developer to be able to predict and cancel out bugs.

Fact: Correlation DOES NOT EQUAL causation.

All that increasing the n value in a test does is increase the number of intervals in which the unwanted conclusion is brought forth.

So in terms of a "stress-test" no, this just means it was done weakly.

Even in terms of lag, and I have minimal coding experiance behind me... but I have more than enough to know that even in terms of lag it is primarily caused by a defunct mechanism in the rerouting, a horrible server host, negative ping values and alternate-reverse connections that clog up the server. Or, in juxtaposition it could be a flaw within the client itself (such as the Cry.dll issue with Aion which anyone who played retail when it was released knows of WELL).

Test server, now I honestly cannot even remember if you even existed on Gamez back when I did... but I'll take the blow and assume you did.

Who in their right-mind would play on a test-server of any kind related to Gamez with the INCREDIBLE catastrophy of Crystal-Aion? I don't need to even go into details on how that, "Crystal Aion" (WHICH has been said on many occassion to be the 'test server') was a absolute disaster. And people talk, and the likelyhood of people even coming near a test-server after hearing what happened? Zero, zip, nada, not happening. So don't blame the community, I HATE that.

So, I honestly don't feel that blaming things on frequencies is fair.

If a person is DOING their job and coding/reworking/editing they -will- bump into an issue that people will face. There is no frequency when it comes to competance.

Volunteers and donations, yes it does. But those volunteers don't take money from the donations themselves, or are you paid?

Yes: Awesome, now I do partially regret not being a moderator and kicking all of your carebearthat around the block.

No: Well, then those donations are -quite- substancial!

When you take a look in game ABG items are actually relatively frequently seen... a lot! Considering how one abg item = 20 bucks and many people are running around in the fullset/ were buying it for their friend, etc... those "donations" become substancial.

Speaking of donations, have you seen some of the donations that institutions like Harvard, Cancer Societys, Hospitals, Help-The-Needy and etc get? Woah over a million dollars, so not much.

The staff, being "staff" as you said in your words are actually obligated by that title to present their product and live with the consequences (Please note: consequences can be positive or negative!).

Also, speaking of obligation... when I signed up to play Gamezaion I didn't sign that I was obligated and would be referenced to show lack of care and initiative on a product I spend multiple hours on every day and have made donations (FYI: donations are a non-benificiary form of investment)towards. No, that doesn't float my boat at all.

the point is this server has a LOT of room for improvement and a lot of ppl seem to think that most of what is being done is just too little too late
