Event idea - Marathon

Event name: well, same as the title or maybe you guys can invent another nice names..

Event description:

- Both races make a party of 6 persons with DIFFERENT classes ( must not have 2 or more persons are same class.)
- PM the AM to register. The AM will choose 1 party for each race to participate.
- The map to hold the event on: Silentera Canyon.
- Candidates have to run from the gateway connects Silentera with Inggison for Elyos and Gelmakros for Asmodian ( these will be the start point) to in front of the gate of Beshmundir temple.( finish point)
- Candidates may use offensive skills on opponents but MUST NOT kill them ( if some1 do it, it's easy to realize by checking the chatlog). However,it's allowed that candidates can be killed by mobs, so you can do harm on your opponent and let the mobs finish them, you won't be caught as rule breaker.
- The 1st person who reach in front of the gate of Beshmundir Temple and have a first trade with GM will decide the winning group.
- Scroll, food, pots, SPEED BUFF skills are forbidden.. Kisks are allowed to register in the start points.
- Any group who breaks the rules, or die all ( by mobs, lol..xD) will be considered as losing group.
- AM can set up maybe around 4-5 games in 1 time... Because the time for each game isn't long i think...

Feel free to add some rules to make it perfect, u r all welcome..xD

Number of GM required: 3 ( 2 GMs will turn into invisible mode to follow each group from the start point to ensure them not breaking the rules; the last GM will stand in the finish line to judge who's the winner, also has to count to begin the game...)

Rewards: well, kinah, scrolls, food, dyes, whatever... Rewards will be given to winning group when the first trade request has been sent to GM...

It'll be kind of hard to find SMs.... For they're pretty glitched

 

you may not need an SM.. there are only 6 slots for a party and have 8 classes...

 

Assassins would win, running scroll + sprinting is faster than any other class.

If you count candies or worg.. even faster.

 

i said scrolls, foods, speed buff skills are all forbidden... Read it carefully ..=.=!
Worg will be forbidden also. To sum up, all buffs, items support to inscrase speed are not allowed to use, all candidates will have same speed.

 

what the GMs can do is for each race, GM1 (asmo) can make sure it doesnt have the equal command on and then set the radar tab to only enemy buffs to monitor any cheaters using scrolls, buffs etc. so i believe more GMs are good for this event. 2 at the end line, and 2 following monitoring buffs.

OR

Have 2 GMs following the players and one GM at the end of the line using xfire or fraps and then review the result.

 

i've also mentioned it. 2 GMs will follow each group in invisible mode to ensure them not using cheats.. And the last GM will work as a referee..

this is a good idea.

kev and i are working on hybrid events that are mixtures of all the peoples ideas to make one perfect one that is suitable for the game

 

and i wish we will have a truly new event soon... :biggrin:
