Idea: #1 Legion on server = rewards

How about for the #1 legion, whoever that may be, gets automatically mailed rewards to the top 10 players that have contributed the most AP for that week to the legion.

For example, Legion X, holds the top #1 rank legion status, has 100 members, for the 10 members that contributed the most AP for a given week.. they get automatically mailed 1b kinah, or 50 Greater Running Scrolls, or 100 Abyss HP potions... you get the idea?

One idea also is for the legion that is #1, have it where each month when the reward is due, a GM will log on that will be giving the reward and could ask the Brigade General of the legion what top 10 players he feels contributed the most and should receive rewards for getting/keeping their legion at the top. Each legion member's name would be recorded and mailed their individual rewards.

This will not only give the #1 legion bragging rights, it will promote more PvP and allow the ones that are actually contributing the most a chance to earn something extra to take back on the battle field.

I didn't read everything but I guess the whole idea is based on rewarding the 1# Legion serverwide.
I think it's a good one,since okay a Legion is 1# , few minutes of fame and thats it.
Rewarding the top Legions of both races will encourage people to PvP and fight for their place.
Like 3 top Asmo Legions,3 Top Elyos Legions will receive something , and higher rank Legions will receive additional stuff.

 

More like signatures of old womens asses, I don't care about the size... my friends notebook with some shoddy 1gb of ram and a video card that doesn't even do shit all and a single processor from 1995 could load it.

The idea could be executed without any coding if done one of the ways I suggested.

 

Nice idea, but i think the two races legions would be nice as both races would come ''out'' and PvP moa. If the rewards were good enough PvP would be more likely to suceed on abyss and other places more often

 

The main reason I thought of this is because AP rewards suck.. I hear all the time, man, what am I supposed to do with my AP. After you buy all the abyss pots you need, there really isn't much left for you. This idea being implemented in some fashion will give a new meaning to AP.

And yeah I agree Taruka, both legions from each race could get the rewards, I like it.

You could also have it where the top 3 legions from each race get rewards. #1 would get most rewards, 2nd place get 75% less then 1st, 3rd place gets 50% less then 1st.

Anyone else feel like AP isn't rewarding enough?

We already have a major lack of end-game PvE.. its pathetic, at the least our PvP could be spiced up a little bit - does anyone else agree?

 

It's a brilliant idea, however... that means the number 1 legion will always stay number 1. It's almost as if we are bribing them to stay number 1 so we can give them rewards.
I can take the idea and make it more fair for "everyone" and not just one or even the #1 legion though.

 

maybe have some kind of meter implemented on the site(if its not too hard or complicated to do) that link with the amount of AP each legion in the top 100 spots gets each week that will be reset each week instead of the legions pretty much staying at their rank and getting rewards every week with no contest
just give the rewards to the legions that get the most AP per week according to that meter that wont require resetting each legions AP so that the top legions can keep all the precious AP that they worked oh so very hard and long(no immature pun intended) to get x.x so yea yea maybe mmk yea o.o

 

Maybe a smililar system like with alliances in guildwars: every day an alliance (in gw that is a group of guilds) lose 10% of their points. Ofcourse by playing enough you can earn new points every day to compensate this...

The PvE content is only lacking due to the lack of AI. Soem of us could get the grade to get to Tahabata but a lot of us couldn't...EVER. Divine Fortress instance- Abyssal Splinter, isanother example. It's actually classified as a League raid dungeon. It takes 4 alliances in a group to do that instance. I mean, be careful what ya ask for cuz it's sometimes more than people can chew. I've personally seenand entire League get rolled by both ragnarok and omega. These bosses are extreme raiding bosses. Tahabata is not a joke like it is here either. I actually 2 manned Tahabata on this server. Good luck doing that in retail. I guess if y'all wanted more PvE content we could ask Alente and Carl toturn up the juice. But I can just see all the qq threads about how glitched it was cuz a whole group, alliance or league got rolled. Your call though.

 

There's already enough conflict with the rank 1 legion for the time being. Too much drama as you've seen, and if they were to get a reward as well, this would just depen the flame/hate

 

this would have been a nice idea if the rewards were carefully implemented and thoroughly thought out....


BUT: This is a private server....... people have premium accounts and it is the easiest thing to have more than one premium account to "transfer" ap from one char to another..... This transfer comes in the form of RANK 9 to Great General in one single day........

This and this alone contributes millions of AP to a guild over a single day if one painstakingly follows this proceedure......

As said above there is enough drama on the servers, both on Elyos and on Asmos side about it..... Ap is sort of useless at the moment....

The best rewards you get from the current state is pure FUN.... Make it so every time you log on..

 

Meh. Unfair for other. #1 legion will always stay #1, it is nearly possible to take their place.
