Cleric Help

Hey,

I'm full ABG geared Cleric with full block set. Today I dueled vs Gladiator which he owned me with 3 shoots. Anyway is this f**** normal? First stigma system not working + Armorfusion works?

Tell me please how can I own them and in other hand defend myself?

I do run/root a lot..

Doesn't seem normal but bleh, just take better advantage of your timing on root to heal, keep the passive healing boost skill on, as it doesn't take the extra 10% mp costs like it says, and blessed shield+flash(or any other big heal) if your low on health.


Remember to use your servants to, they hit really hard and don't have a cast time.

 

Well I dont want to use blessing shield blind light - its noobish in a duel.

Btw, what do you think Cleric as full Cloth + Staff with HP+MB set ?

If you go MB, then go mb and dont get hp too because they'll hit much anyways so better to have a bigger damage output

 

Nah, they're gonna call you a noob for kiting (running) anyways, or healing oh no.. not that I use blinding light,but I think using blessed shield is fair.


As to that, I wouldn't because you'll be taking a drastic hit to your defense, and you already hit hard enough no real need for the extra magic boost for DPS. Just get abg mace(+15ed) +accs and you'll hit just fine. DoTs and summons damage isn't altered any by magic boost so you only have a few skills that really benefit from it.

With full abg chain, using full block or MR is the best, cause you should still have around 11k health if it's all +15ed.. that's including abg accs to. Without you should have close to 10k? or a little under.

 

Isn't 2173 magic resist a bit too much (full MR set) ?

Dude, they'll call you a noob, a newbie or even a hacker just because you win and they die, so **** what they think. It's your character, kill how you please.

 

Maybe, I stopped after I broke 2k, which was 6 slots left open on my mace, which I put 6 HP+85 stones on.


I just figured after 2k, the only class that could come close to hitting me was the sorc after the 1k M.Acc buff skill, which then it really doesn't matter how much I put into it, might as well get a little extra HP.

 

i still dont get why people think that way, you learn a skill and they call you noob for using it. how come i only have 9khp.

i didnt know about this one, and foolish not to have explored that skill... oh well now i know.

 

I have exactly the same my 2nd set doesn't really work vs gladiators. Sorcerers are easy to kill, mostly players here don't know how to play them. I haven't found sorcerer who hits 10k+ dmg.

I'm just worried for gladiators and their big skills.

It is not about others calling me noob, is just a like challenge .

P.S. I use ALL of my skills in raid.

This is weird, the only glad that ever gave me problems was Cropsie, cause he also had a ABG chain set full MR, so not even my root would land half the time, but I still beat him

Just don't ever stop kiting, don't stop to cast a skill unless you can do it without getting caught in a KD.


Other than that idk S:

 

i defeat gladiators this way... on 3-1 count run away in a range you can root him. Use earth's wrath and chastise then cast servants immediately while running away, then stun him as you run away. run away, root again(you have to time the root after the dps kicks in so he will be rooted in maximum time before the next dps) then cast punishing earth for the chain skill, rooting and running is the best way to defeat them

it's not really a challenge, a pro melee will run away if you blind them. others will just call you noob coz they dont know how to run, all they know is to spam their skills and use their hp recoveries.

 

in my experience clerics who know what theyre doing pwn glads one on one, do you have any screenshots or vids of the duel?

 

Alright, fair enough. Had a reminiscence moment from reading your post. Played enough MMO's to not just care if the guy gets upset about how I fight by my game-play any more, they'll always complain as long as you keep winning.

If they request me not to use a skill, I'll consider it but they'll have to do the same for me too. Fair trade.
