    depends on the lyrics man...
most hip-hops are having lyrics about bars, luxury, bars, sex, dance floors and other noob shits...

I don't like to compare them to the kind of music I listen and I play as well.... Our music is just absolutely incomparable and is the best genre existing and I mean will forever exist as the best....

edit: Listen to God Forbid and KSE man... their vocals are black...

I'll give them a try. You should try the underground hiphop. They're still keeping it alive, forget that commercial garbage, they're fake.

The golden of hip-hop was in the 90s. It died after 2003-6. The commercialised game changed the culture of hip-hop. Each of the artist tried to be an individual, doing rap wars, rapping about fake stuff which the hip-hop culture was never about, being true and real in what you are saying. They forgot where it started and that's how it eventually crumbed.

As of 2010, what they are doing now, shouldn't be called hip-hop. They can continue to make their music, but I'd rather it not be called hip-hop.

Rock and Hip-hop to me are the most informative and truly spoken forms of music. They inform events across the global which the news cannot do, and can be philosophically deep and doesn't narrow all the artist down to a one theme boat (unless they became commercialised) and narrow down the view on what love is. Love is simply passion, nothing else. I don't know about modern rock, I tend to listen to the ones from the 90s and the early 21st century. Anyway I don't have a favourite genre of music, I just simply love music.

Right now I'm currently listening to a 90 minute megamix that my girlfriend made. She DJ's at the campus club at college and has been DJ'ng since she was in high school at clubs in our hometown. No, I can't send it to you. She's very protective of her creations. But I can assure you it's epic Aion gaming music!
