[Forum Suggestions]GFX Zone & GFX Team

Since, we had already a request sig thread made by trustsony ~Photoshop Masters~-Request Sig-.

I am suggesting that we must put a GFX Zone Section under the Community Forums. Also GFX Team, a team who are recruiting peoples who have talent on using Photoshops. And GFX Team must be part of the staff here so we also respect them.

GFX STORE RULES​

1. Inactive for a month would be discussed by the User and the HGFX by pm about his/her [Store] if he/she wants to continue. If notification is sent and there has been no reply from the thread creator, thread will be deleted by the GFX team.
2. Spam posts are not allowed in these section give a karma/rep will be your symbol of thanks.
3. You are not allowed to bump on your request thread twice or more in a day.
4. Post counts must reach 30 in order to request a signature/avatar/user bar at GFX Stores.
5. If you want to build your store you must put [Store] sign in the title of your thread.
6. Be sure to read the following Legends tittles before creating a thread.

GFX REQUEST RULES​

1. You can only request if you have a 30 post count on the GFX request zone.
2. Do not PM any GFX Staff on there account on requesting a graphics just post them on there stores
3. Be patient waiting on your request to be granted.
4. Do not double post.
5. Equality is serve on requesting a signature, all granting request is in order.
6. You are allowed to request 1 SIGNATURE, AVATAR, and USER BAR per month in different GFX STORES.

1.Be polite, even if you do not like someones work you must say so in polite ways.
2.Do not post rates as 10/10.Try to suggest ways on how they can improve their GFXng.

Constructive Criticism

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM

There seems to be some misconceptions about what exactly is entitled to those that choose to give criticism to artists on the site. As far as I am concerned, the admins of this community are looking for positive feedback from everyone is a master graphic design, and no one is expected to be, But as far as giving critique, there is a right way and wrong way to do it. So if you are ensure of how to give feedback on the artwork that is posted here, this is for you. And those of you that have the urge to spout out whatever comes to your mind; please, contain yourselves.

The wrong way
"This sucks, it looks like you spent 5 seconds on it"
"Are you serious, this just looks slapped on..."
"You suck"
"I hate the way you used the text"
"Your use of lighting is horrible"

Note that in these forms of critique (albeit somewhat exaggerated) that there is nothing positive to the feedback. Don't be shocked to find out that people have actually been posting this sort of thing. NEWSFLASH: Just because you assume that you are a better artist does not entitle you to act like god's gift to the world of graphics and say whatever you feel like. Practice tact and give feedback that can be used in a positive way.

The right way
"I'm not a big fan of this. There doesn't appear to be alot of effort in it. You should really try to put more work into it, and I think it would be alot better"
"I don't like the 'slapped on' look a whole lot. You should try to blend the elements in a bit more"
"Your typography is a little lacking. I would suggest..."
"The lighting seems weak. You should problem try..."

Note that giving proper feedback often takes a bit more effort on your part. Usually it involves typing more than 3-5 words. The way I generally like to give (and receive) feedback, is first through the bad, and then how to fix it. You should never give someone feedback that they can't take anything away from. You should be able to point out inadequacies, and then show them (if possible) how to do it differently, so as to improve. If you aren't good enough to tell them how to fix it, just say that!

(i wish i could use photoshop in an expert level as well , but my talent is pretty much limited to hand-made drawings / sketches / tattooes :S)

 

You can do photoshop even you dont have installed photoshop in your computer... click this Online Photoshop

I do have the latest photoshop installed on my PC but like I said I'm not well-skilled in using it.

 

you can learn this thing, always watch tutorial videos on youtube...

Tutorial vids on youtube is your friend to move your skills up...
and also practice makes you better...

 

This is a good idea, many things can be made from this gfx team. Gamez video presentations using if u want AAE, remodeling of the site, forum banners, online flyers etc....

I dont have time to put myself into this team, but gl in that.
