Insignias Removed / Dmg lowered

EGT/EAT is perfectly obtainable and easily comparable if not better than ABG in some cases.

It is a group PvP game, just because you don't choose to play it that way doesn't mean we or NCSoft are going to accomidate your nagging.

The PvP damage has been adjusted, it is a healthy balance between the old insignias and nothing at all and for someone who hates glads so much you should probably be happy you're not getting twoshot.

Play with a group or toughen up and learn how to kill glads, I've seen plenty of rangers/clerics/sorcs/sms take down ABG glads with insignias up and those glads were taking less damage than they will be now.

If its really based on group pvp only why is there specifically 1v1 duels, or what now duel is being cancelled?

I can hold my own for ages against a Gladiator..

and Rangers roll me like pastry, so if anything they are more than gladiators.

Gladiators do a truck of damage, not enough to be deemed the Gods of Aion however.. I have yet to have a 1v1 problem with a Glad on my Chanter or Sorc..

 

Your dumb, just because theres stuff you can do 1v1, doesn't mean the game isn't based on group pvp.

i never said the game isnt based on group pvp, others are the ones saying its not solo pvp based, if it wasn't there wouldnt be a duel system

 

It can't be solo and group based..

It has to be CENTRED around one, it can't be around both..
You can't solo sieges, Gelkmaros / Inggison, Rifting solo is pretty darn stupid..

 

This server sometimes seems like it's still on a "Close beta" phase, changing stuff and gameplay every minute.

aion is based on GROUP PVP,
go to google, and search it, just because there is a function where you can do a 1v1 battle, mean's jack all.

Things that require groups


forts require a group,
rift/raiding in most cases on retail requires a group.
instances require a group.
bosses require a group.
arena pvp 98% of the time requires a group.
abyss you can solo, but 60% of the time, you bring a group.
baleura, you bring a group.

Things that do not require a group

Duel.

Seriously, you say it like only certain classes are effected by it, ALL classes are.
Sorry that not everyone likes all their fights to consist of 5 seconds of button smashing.

 

I think we still have to lower dmg and hp of warrior. They hit too high, so does hp. And their plate give them... High def too.

 

While I think this may change things in.... an unappealing way, I'll give it a few days of testing and actual PvP before I give my comments.
