AOE skills + bug abuse

    We have had a problem as of late with players using AOE skills to kill players under spawn protection.
    This is bug abuse and is not tolerated. You will receive immediate jail with no warning for abusing this bug.

    We have had a lot players complaining that it is not fair we are jailing them for bug abuse. How fair is it for the players under spawn protection?

    One player even went so far as to suggest to Asphel that we remove AOE skills so players can't use them. This is not an option, just simply do not bug abuse.

    the AOE is a bug. . . ? sir when will be the server will be restart.. . ? i have some important things t do. . .

    Rofl remove Aoe's huh :D i lol'd hard . I suggest remove all skills and lets have a dance party 24/7 :p

    Players using AOE skills at spawn points to break spawn protection and killing the players.


    Crystal does not need a restart.

    what about when asmos use our obelisk to respawn?
    They are also abusing the bug.

    We don't have a problem with that on Crystal. If that happens, use //gmlist to see what GMs are online and send a pm to them so they can check it out.

    To clear some things up;

    'Spawn Camping' (When not using the known bug)

    Is when a player or a group of players stands at a Obelisk and waits for players to spawn.
    While the player is stood still (none targetable/blinking) the player is in a supposed 'Spawn Protection' state were he or she will not be harmed while stood still. (But this is bugged)

    If the player moves then he or she becomes targetable and can be killed.
    THIS IS ALLOWED.

    But when a player is stood still and is in the 'Spawn Protection' state, some members of the enemy faction will attempt to kill them by doing AoEs, mainly Glads/Sorcs/Rangers etc...
    The player, although in Spawn Protection state will actually take damage and CAN BE KILLED.
    This my friend is AGAINST THE RULES.

    And will get you a ticket to the county jail!

    I hope this clears things up for you.

    lol what about obelisk at rhonnam village, it dont have spawn protection
