Elyos camping

Okay its gotten to the point of no reason to enter the abyss for some people. Elyos on Lumiel are inside Primum camping the obelisk every day after 12 midnight est. ANd this time they have a kisk INSIDE and are healing it.

Argue as much as you like about how camping is a legit strategy but not when your spawn killing, i posted pics before and all that seems to happen is a flamefest. Either Elyos learn to actually PVP and wait outside like good little children or a GM is gonig to have to start jailing people because you cant even take two steps.

As selik mentioned in another thread. Spawn camping is legal but killing someone shortly after resurrection and your still in a blinking state is illegal and this is considered spawn protection...

 

hahah we capture the primum... and bella is right there is no wrong if we are not doing aoe attack at spawn

 

Just a question but.. are they gonna fix that soon?inched: In both servers, siel and lumiel.

 

If there isn't a GM on to port you during the blinking state and they are using an AoE to kill you. Please don't hesitate to post on the forum that you need help.

Fact is three people in my Legion just said they were leaving cus of it... and im sure many more are too. And no no everyone has scrolls and they are using AOEs on the spawn. Camping a spawn like that where its 20 vs 5 isnt pvp. And being a pvp server, especially with Lumiel being as small as it is now... this has lasted for an hour or more.

Just saying a lot of things are legal, yet people still dont do them. This was is that it was impossible to move for anyone, and actually once they stayed outside the fight was pretty epic and more enjoyable.

If you want to slaughter shit just go run an instance with your legion, dont ruin it for the whole other faction. Its like if all of Seil decided to camp there as well. Is that really pvp? I mean honestly would you be okay with no more abyss because you couldnt even enter it?

Sure you can port out but that isnt the point. On this server, world pvp is non existent because of sheer dumb luck it takes to run into someone. So standing at the ONLY way to get into the abyss for the other faction is destroying PVP and with out that... what do you want leet gear so you can kill... Shugos? <--- nuff said about not binding there


So please jsut have some curtisy is what im saying, id hate to see someone get banned cus they use an AOE and werent told its an offense.

 

its also a lot more enjoying for me, playing elyos, when people aren't camping primum and asmos are in the core. unfortunately some players dont give a shit about others and spawn camp for hours on end...

 

Which is why i think getting inside ON BOTH sides shouldnt be able to happen. Not saying them standing outside is bad.... thats fine. But when a legion mate of mine whos just started teh other day QQ so much that he quits the server entirely because of it.... Its an issue. You dont need to cheat to get AP.

Though cheating does remind of one rule.... hacking and bug abuse. Its putting yourself at an unfair advantage over the other though a bug, glitch, or hack. Isnt the fact that Elyos and Asmos can go through the barrier a glitch? So glitches are okay to abuse... if we all abuse them right?

 

it'll be hard to enforce this rule though, since a lot of people dont read the rules before playing. I'd like to see the GMs attempt this suggestion though

 

will just nuke there kisk and drive them back into there hole in the ground, dont care if I lose AP, im not gonna lay down for campers. and yen u sad person that leads these 2hour+ camp raids with dozens of peeps and all use exploits, soon as GM's go offline thos peeps pop up in primum, screen shots ftw.

 

This is the most stupid thing ever..That they can camp you in your own city's..

I remember at Beluslan..Elyos binded there..We spawn kill..And a GM comes and say stop killin' him..
Rofl..He binds to our Obelisk..And then GM goes and saves his ass? So stupid..

And whenever we wanna do Dark Poeta..We go there just 3 people..And see the same people all day long campin' there..Seriously do you guys have no life?

It's just stupid seriously..Fix the damn guards..So you can't get spawn/spam killed in your own country's..That way Elyos gonna start groupin' at core or at West/East teleports..So its Group vs Group fight which is more fun..Instead of just spawn killin' someone with like 25% hp..

I also wished there was a way to get 55 Abyss Gears..Ingame..Instead of donatin' or votin'..Cause honestly either you lose real life money..Or you gotta wait a very long time for full 55 Abyss Gear + Mastarius weapon..Voters are unlucky here

 

Elyos go to primum cuz everywhere else they get raped... they can't walk in baluera or even in their cities so they go to the empty abyss! that is it!

leave that dead place to them and come kick elyos ass at Ingisson!

Sorry i didn't see this thread earlier but i am actually a real hater of this kind of slaughter.
It's not even PvP, it's just a way for someone to feel good about themselves and think they are a good PvPer.

I have asked Alente to enable some sort of barrier (Like in retail) so the opposite faction is unable to enter.

As for GMs not jailing them or that they should, i actually have a name i look for everytime i am online that is waiting to get a 4 hour jail sentence for abusing this bug.
Most of the reports have been about the Asmodians doing it, it has only just started to come to light that Elyos do this also.

But i must state that in the photo you provided, you actually broke your own Spawn Protection by attacking Pen, therefore he could kill you in one shot.

Spawn Protection does not last forever (30 secs i think) so that is more than enough time to teleport out with scrolls, or if a GM is online get them to port you out.

Don't think for one minute that i will let someone who breaks Spawn Protection get away with this, so if it ever happens again, get videos/SS's and Chat Logs of the event and if it proves them AoE'm through Spawn Protection then i would gladly send them all to jail.

I will also be trying to ramp up the punishment times to really get my point across.

Lol? Hardly any Elyos does Abyss pvp anymore o-o That is, all the good ones don't.
Anyways, both Elyos and Asmos camp, yes it's a drag, but it's what people do :[

 

I fully agree on this... spawncamping isnt pvp but then again 90% of the players here arent real pvp-players either... and the problem with AOE damage on spawnpoints is that, even when you target someone who isnt spawnprotected, you probably automatically hit other players who are spawnprotected.

I did it once because some legionaires said raiding Primium was cool but when i arrived all i could see was a lot of players spawncamping. I left within 5 minutes mumbling something like "f*ck this".

I also agree that only can kind of barrier can prevent this from happening. This can be some kind of forcefield or maybe an unkillable npc that hits to hurt... badly. Just to protect the spawnpoints...

And maybe change the spawnpoints as well for the players who are entering Primium/Teminon (inside instead of outside the fortresses).
