Let's discuss magical aether

So

I for one am really into the crafting in this game. (inb4carebear)
And while I've had no issues gathering mats for myself for things like food craft or alchemy, when it comes to armor, you need thousands if not tens of thousands of magical, great pure and brilliant aether. now lets do the math.

in retail, this is easy to come by because
1) many people gather it and sell it
2) you can gather it yourself no problem because all the fly zones work as intended.
3) there are aether vendors in each cities main town (panda and sanctum) that sell aether in bulk.


I propose people being able to
1) use credits to but said aether in bulk (10 credits per 100 magical aether)
2) set up the damn vendor!!! THIS IS A HIGH RATE SERVER. SHOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE ACCESS TO THINGS LIKE THIS
3) allow the free fly in the gathering zones and put up a wall to keep out enemies so people can gather in peace rather then be camped to hell by overzealous enemies.


I think that its a good way to keep people interested, as we all know that sometimes the pvp gets frustrating and even a little old.

Im sure this has been said a billion times before and everyone has their own qq thread about the magical aether.

I've asked about 6 gm's about donating for the mats i need to craft and not one has answered me. so im hoping this post is a wake up call for them to see that im not the only one who desires an easier way.

And for the record, while gathering takes time i've never had a problem doing it myself

but you guys set it up to where its 25 nodes per 250 people miniumum. everytime im there, theres always three or four other people gathering as well.

at this rate, i'll never get enough mats to craft in this life time.



TLDR?

durpa durp we want aether vendors or to be able to use credits for large stacks of said aether.
this only applies to the 2.0 aether or magical aether because there are too many people after it, and not enough nodes to keep the masses happy.

For me its harder to get the balaur items i need than Magical aether. Gelk /ingg drops are really messed up and even with premium the Firm balaur stuff hardly drops at all..

 

while i understand the frustration of gathering higher level balaur mats, its not impossible and eventually they'll add the mobs that drop what you need. i know the loot tables are kind of messed up right now and have faith that they'll get to it eventually. but this thread is about the magical aether, or lack there of.

i know you can morph just about anything in this game. considering the balaur mats are not morph-able i think its a good point to bring up. just not here.

I wish that Magical Aether was available in the store. I've seen that NPC selling fluxes is also missing. And because of that I can't craft Drenium set. ==;

I'm already sick of gathering MA.

 

i think people fail to realize that this would most likely be a well needed reset to the economy in this game as far as pots food and scrolls. once you make it available for everyone the prices will drop dramatically.

 

That means no more potion business for me then . Though I think it may or may not help the current OP economy in Siel. It may help since people wont be selling 1b kinah/1 MA and those excess kinah will be used up buying MA stabilizing the economy.

BUT then if everything is just easy to get then PTing those crafting skills like Aethertapping and Essencetapping is just a waste. I mean it completely loses its value when everything is just made available through NPCs.

I say if its this pushes through then might as well limit the Aethers being sold per day in that certain NPC.

 

how will this help the economy ?
what ur asking for will kill the economy pots/foods wise

just because you can buy the mats doesnt mean its still not work to craft it. i think its pretty stupid you just advertised that you're basically ripping people off. thus proving my point even further. also, you might want to read posts, before posting.

you're right, it wont help the people selling 1 pot for 500mil. and those people dont deserve help. there's no reason to charge that much whatsoever. it will help the economy as a whole.. because people wont be getting ripped off.

 

You know, I need tons of MA. It's better for me to waste a huge amount of kinah for MA, than to waste time on gathering it. I wouldn't complain, if ACTUALLY Greater Magical Aether would give me 3 MA, as it says in the description. Unfortunately, it's bugged and gives me nothing. Same as Brilliant MA.

Primo, I'm playing on asmo side. Secundo, I searched for the flux NPC and it doesn't exist. Well, at least it's not there where it should be.

 

insted of asking for this why wont u ask for chanceing the scroll/food timers from 5 min to say 15 min ?
what your asking for here is im to lazy to farm so plz make it easy mode for me

dont blame those that are farming and making their scroll for sale
blame those *&@%&* dupers they are the ones paying a kazillion kinah for a scroll (note i quit selling scrolls kinah is worthless anyway)

 

:crying: I didn't say anything bad did I? If you read my post carefully I put the pro's and con's of it. Ripping someone with what? I said potion business. Is selling potion ripping people already when I took the time farming the mats to make that certain potion. It's not like I just got those mats somewhere instantly. I spent boring hours just to farm the mats then you tell someone who's selling potion ripping people off?

 

first of all, i never said i was too lazy. i made a killing off selling food for a reasonable price and have spent ******* hours gathering. my point is that there is 25 nodes in a small section that you're able to fly in that you have to compete with 50 other people gathering from them too. i suggest you stop posting and read the thread. that or just stop posting altogether because your posts are making my head hurt.
