She is living an abusive and very depressive life.


#1: She went onto drugs which are causing her to suffer from very intense hallucinations.


#2: She possibly could be suffering from a severe form of schitzophrenia.

#3: She may be suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder.

No... she is taken into a mental home (which from the looks of the movie I'll assume this wasn't -modern-) which was a common punishment for people suffering from mental disorders beyond their control.

It isn't the brain or genetics at all :< It is having a passion to help people + the drive to get educated XD

It does make sense though, right XD? Like she is taken into a mental home <30 seconds> because she clearly has one of those disorders which is tearing her away from reality and making her litterally feel like she is leading a 100% different life through hallucinations and almost remaining in a 'dream like trance' (and sadly still we have very similar procedures... ).

Back in the day, which I assume this isn't modern based on the lighting, state of the houses and etc, it wasn't too unheard of for people suffering from mental disorders to be given excess amounts of neurotransmitters (such as dopamine, serotonin <which are commonly used to treat depression nowadays>, drugs (psychopharmacology wasn't truly "born" until just recently in history) that didn't work properly and caused the effects to worsen, along with the fact that these people were basically thrown away to rot eventually degraded their cognitive abilities away until their disorders impaired even the most minimal of functioning.

(As you can see in the video, at this mental-home she is taken too she is forced to clean the floors, do meals, etc. Their living standards were very close to isolation).

So in the end you have a person with a disorder which is... very very very difficult to treat at the best of times. Who is probably being experimented on with various treatments that are likely to worsen her case.

(Umm speaking of the neurotransmitter dopamine above, there is a common disorder called turrets that has a major link to excess dopamine (which is found commonly in the substantia nigra part of the spinal cord) and these individuals suffer from very HIGH levels of creativity... though they do suffer from tics... probably the one disorder I'd choose to have if I was to have one actually!)

So... tl;dr: if she was experimented on with being given dopamine injections (or l-dopa) she probably would have suffered evenmoreso from her possible DID (dissociative identity disorder) or schitzophrenia... more creative person suffering from hallucinations and being taken away from reality ? BAD!!!!!!

Considering how she also seems to have a theme with death it is quite possible that she is suffering a comorbid joint of schitzophrenia ALONGSIDE DID ... alongside Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and she is drawn to obsess and have compulsions over death/killing.

Interesting fact: L-Dopa is actually a commonly administered solution to offset the effects of parkinsons... but I don't see her suffering from symptoms of this in the trailer...



And I think with that I have explained this trailer in excess. LOL :3
