    Alente,

Clock speed of DDR 3 ram doesn't match the clock speed of your CPU - Phenom II x4.

Your CPU is clocked at DDR 2 1066 - Dual Channel.
Your RAM is clocked at DDR 3 1333 - Triple Channel.

So basically CPU will not use the RAM to its full potential.

Solution: Swithc to DDR2 RAMs. (which we already posted in previous discussions >_>)

Seems we've come to a resolution on the RAM debate.

Dual-channel DDR3 motherboards support DDR3 but preferably either two or four sticks - thus the dual channel term.

"The main selling point of this brand new AM3 platform is the much awaited support for DDR3. Official support is for dual-channel DDR3-1333 in unganged mode, however the integrated memory controller (IMC) built into each processor does have a multiplier to support DDR3-1600. For those of you unfamiliar with the term unganged, the Phenom II's IMC is implemented as two separate 64-bit controllers rather than a single 128-bit interface. As a result, the platform can either emulate a single 128-bit dual-channel mode (ganged) or operate as two independent 64-bit memory controllers capable of processing two memory requests simultaneously (unganged). The latter is faster in multi-threaded scenarios, while the former is better for single-threaded environments, but also puts more strain on the IMC and thus is relegated to slower DDR3-1066 memory speeds"

So it basically acts faster in multi-threaded scenarios and puts the extra straints onto the extra memorys of DDR3 (extra when compared to DDR2).

Well that's bloody great, I can't pay for it.

My paypal isn't american and if I set it to another address (my friend in the states) it nags about address not being confirmed.

So I have money to start buying shit while its on sale and Paypal/Newegg have decided to be racist for the lulz

    Paint me bloody pissed off.

And the day just gets better.

Midnight ticked and not only did my monitors stop being on special ($70 off each) both they and my mobo are now officially out of stock.

I'm going to bed before I end up swearing death upon newegg.

This is truly sad, all this work and excitement just to get slapped in the face. I hope you get this worked out and return to the excitement in getting your dream machine.

    Good luck :)
