wen crystal will have more players?????

well crystal means .....1 hour pvp ..and 4 hours ''BORING'' cuz in evry pvp are the same .....1 or 2 changes but nothing more........idk....this server is for future..have a plan for future...??? .. to attract more players......to be more endertaining..........to be something else.......idk......i mean c'mon.....now crystal is prety fixed and work good in comparation with other good server like gamez.....wen rates are gooood..but hahaha.is prety imposible to lvl up and is so buggy ..cuz server crass . Idk.....with 20-40 ppls for evry race we can't make a real game .......a endertaining game^^ .So my question is this server have a plan for future......(and don't tell low rates servers have less ppls...Atomix with a very low rate have all the time more that 150 ppls and ..this is not the real problem.....)

Well everyone likes to reach 55 in one hour, they want to click something and POOF, you're 55, (this includes me in it:innocent so I think they won't move to Crystal.

 

I would play crystal seeing as I pretty much already have fenriss plate set but... I like getting max level in 3-6 hours lol other wise I play retail ^ ^

 

You've made a similar thread like this before Hex . Their is no point in making these. We know that Crystal's population is low and I'd love to see a lot of players here, but a lot of people would rather just play a high rate because of how quick and easy it is. Crystal is meant to cater to a different audience. Players who like retail, but got tired of the immense grinding as our rates are still much higher than retails.

 

mostly people looks for quicky play.. i mean fast lvl up...if that would be they would rather go infinite aion if ull gona mke it harder on lvling...and most of the people are already fully geared at high rate thats why...

 

i ask those cuz in a short time i will be able to donate....and i realy planing too do that..for good stuf......but if the things remains the same on crystal .....this server is in the shadow of Gamez.....Ijust don't wana spend money on a server wen ppls nont't join.....and were so many players lewt..i think 20 pls from top 50 left.....or more......idk... in morning were 13 ely online..wat can i say ...lets pvp???? hahaha///idk.....and idk........think the biggest prob is that the server don't have a administrator to work only on crystal.......cuz are to many dofferences betwen crystal and gamez...to many^^ .....and is like retail...haha.....wat good to be like retail if noone join^^????

 

Yeah I can understand your concern Hex. I would love to see Crystal flourish, but their really is only so much we can do for it

We Crystal GM's try out best to keep the players as happy as possible with what we've got.

We do what we can and hopefully Crystal can also reach a similar population to Gamez but we just have to wait and see for now.

 

I think that if crystal go in this way... In the future we'll see a populated and cleaned server =)

Crystal have the best gm's ...and i asure u cristal is my prefered from all points....just one concern me.........population....and fun in it ...just all ...hehe^^ ......cuz the most time is boring...but wen ppl pvp is like .....idk ,,,,,,the thing is that u have to much fun i a moment and then to boring boring boring^^

There are multiple things that are currently drawing people away from wanting to play Crystal.


#1: It is a low-rate server, most people in this world look for instant gratification (whether it be food, sex, or even leveling and gearing up) and as such automatically a low-rate server almost gets a hostile dislike for it.


#2: Multiple drama bombs that have gone over this server.

While I won't delve into this into too much depth, and I will be unbiased.

basically what happened is that earlier crystal players have had to deal with GM's abusing their powers and giving out gears/leveling people (remember... low rate server... this was a BIG deal) "Mandi crisis", hearing that the server was merely a "test server" and would be closed and thus making all donations and gears towards the server null-void.

Would you want to play on a server based upon just those two things? Not really...

#3: Population makes a big deal in most mmo players game selection. No matter how great your gears are, no matter how skilled you are: you want to have a variety of people to fight. Also, people don't particularily enjoy running around/flying through the abyss for over 10-15 minutes without finding PvP (which actually was a major factor leading to the gradual bleed-out of retail Aion players <Well that and 'soon TM'>.

#4: Crystal was a relatively new server, by that time there were multiple servers already created and people had already settled down onto servers. Basically this means that for people like me, and many others, we had excessive gears we already donated for/earned and etc... making us very attatched to where we were at during that point of time. Psychologically restricting ourselves to be unable to go to a new low-rate server.

So there is four pretty big points, there are a few more, but I think there are the four really big ones most people fall into if they avoid this server.

but the funy thing is that ppls leaved crystal ....players with abg gear and ..well good players^^........wat i sed...half of top 50 are palyers who leaved^^..so most of them had good gear ^^............but they go to .....well"100000000 xp/ap/blablabla rate server haahah

 

Well dude this is the reality, Gamez is over populated (well I haven't been there for 3 months so I guess it's not valid) and here is the opposite. Besides the population is not THAT bad. But if you compare it to Gamez, it's very different then.

As long as we got the GMs doing events, action to do on the server, and plans beside PVP, then it's all good for me.

Edit: If there is one thing I remember meeting a few new players that quite after a while, their reasons were the donation system. People that seek servers that are closer to retail, will hate it to bits.

 

Hex it's not so much getting people to join (because we have plenty of people joining), it's getting them to stay. One of the biggest problems we had in the last month was losing //giveslots when we went 2.0.

As you know, I've only gotten permission to help the players out with that situation a few days ago. I don't think we will see results from this for at least another week or so as to whether this will help keep new people on the server. In the past 3 days.. 88 players have taken advantage and pm'd me for the quest items and skills. I really hope that all the time I'm putting into this helps out the server population wise and helps to keep the players happy.

 

Also this, forgot about this. This put me out of commission for weeks.

 

Aegis statement is correct. I remember all of that and sadly it pretty much tarnished Crystal's reputation. Crystal is getting much better, but we as players have to be able to make our own fun on the server. We can't expect the server to always bring new and wonderful things so we have to look for reasons to play. For most people it is because they met some amazing people on Crystal or Gamez for instance and they play because of them.

 

True that, I had much help from a certain player when I started here, who I just happen to meet while leveling and he helped me from level 28 to level 55 Also gearing me with Elder gears etc.

I was hoping in a month or so that I could open a legion specifically for aiding newbies/new players on Crystal.

 

Oh my god you really should so something about those "...................." you are using.

On topic, as previously stated, people like to level up easily. So no wonder crystal's got a few people playing in it and gamez's got tons.

 

Yeah, at the start Crystal was in a dark age but it's now recently turning into the light. Call it a Renaissance if you may.

Pretty much how all games with high and low rate server choices are.
